Maybe a Rachaad White, Tyler Allegier, Damon Pierce, or D'vonte Price if they miss on BRJ. *Those names might all be misspelled. I did a lot of drinking earlier. Are you Dr. Johnny Fever? Seriously, I feel your pain. I'm still drinking while I post right now. As Chris Isaak once sang "Did a bad bad thing". I really like Pierce in the 4th. He can block in pass pro and can run between the tackles. He's the RB we need, not the RB we deserve. I think I got that right? (Flowers for) Algernon later could be a good pick. FFS, it's 3:30am EST now. I hate when I close the store. It takes me hours to unwind.

We are entering a season that I was about to have little to no interest in...the third consecutive year in which no reasonable person would have anything resembling deep playoff expectations for the team. And now...a Colts/Commanders trade just spiced up the season with 2 weeks of high quality theater. Yeah, this will be fun. And I think after all is said and done we will be the way better team. Quote It was a coup that we got a 1 and a 3 for Wentz...and, to be fair...it's a coup that Indy managed a 3 and a 3 (and possibly more). Well they swapped second rounders. And that 2023 third will turn into a second if he plays 70% of snaps.. Quote Now, could Wentz beat us once (or twice) next year head to head and make things "look bad" ? Sure, Mcnabb did that once too. But the reality that he's an overrated bust who was masterfully unloaded for more than he's worth won't change. Yeah. I am not afraid of Wentz leading the Commanders for sure.

But anyone completely writing off a with his for a guy who went 8-7 in his first season as a starter with his fourth different coaching system and offensive system in the last four years is just being a quintessential Negadelphian. I remember the same cacophony of "dump him, he sucks" on the old boards about Jason Kelce in his first couple of seasons, and now he's a Philadelphia legend. ummmm?

March 10, 20223 yr As much as I want, and feel we need, to use all three firsts since we have such a long list of needs, it's probably not likely. Plus, we will need to address QB next year, so they will need to start acquiring quality picks for the 23 draft. If we are picking around 18 or so that's not the range to get one. Sucks because they could use all three firsts D and still be left needing.

March 10, 20223 yr Says Christian Kirk could get up to $15M a year and Marquez Valdes-Scantling could get $10M. If that’s the case, Chark should get at least $15M.

The issue with Chark is health though. Might drop his price a bit more than what Kirk will see. Maybe an incentive based deal would push his number up tho.

I don’t know the extent of the his injury, but assuming it’s a straight forward recovery I would be surprised if he made less than Kirk. He’s a far more valuable player.

Chark's production has gone down for two straight seasons and he has played a total of 17 games over that span. Kirk is coming off of a career best season in receptions, yards, yards per game, etc. He will probably get a bit more than Chark, not the other way around. MVS is average as hell and if some team pays him 10 million a year they are morons.

Kirk played 31 out of 33 games over the last two seasons and is coming off of a career year. He will get a better deal than Chark.

If you told me Wentz wanted to come back and the colts wanted a 3rd and Hurts I'd do it in a heartbeat I think most acknowledge Wentz is better than Hurts (lowest bar on Earth to climb over I think). Wentz is better than what Washington had, for sure. But he's still not good enough to take Washington very far. He just makes too many boneheaded mistakes at bad times. It wasn't completely his fault that Indy flamed out...but he certainly had his part to play. I think he was shipped out of Indy mainly because of Irsay being a hot head, but he's now had 2 weird exits from teams. What a strange career.
March 10, 20223 yr Top 15 QBs don’t play for 3 different teams in 2 years . He will be done as a starter in a year if he continues to play the same .
