I enjoyed it for what it was. I think a lot of the hype is about it being so good with a budget of $750k which is rare nowadays. I think the main actress will be getting a lot of roles because of the movie also.

I just watched tonight. I really liked it.

Inde Navarette was great. The guy that played Bear, will probably never be heard of again.

I just didn't like how she became " obsessed" and a couple of other corny things that ruined it for me. However, I do agree the girl did do a great job and there were some very unsettling scenes.

Because it's a horror and it's the monkeys paw curse type thing.

Last time @Bwestbrook36 bought a monkey's paw, he bent in all those furry chimp knuckles and phisted himself into a bloody pulp. So even though it wasn't technically used correctly, his wish was granted!

I saw Obsession last night also. It’s a good movie. I thought it was lacking a little in the horror aspect though. I wish they went a bit more into the body horror and kills.

One debate I had with my wife

Did anyone else think she liked Bear from the start before the willow? She was practically begging for him to make the first move.

She did. But you can never be sure unless a woman takes her boobs out for you (even then her bra may just be uncomfortable) and let's you have a squeeze, and she never did that. So I can't blame him for not noticing her signs. She had no game.

Movie suffered a no booby penalty. I had to subtract 0.99 from is score.

8.01

There were boobs - at the very end when she had the chick whose face she smashed in sitting in the chair she had her shirt open and her boobs were out lolunsure

I think that

She didn't like Bear (also absolutely stupid nickname for him). When she had her moment awake and whispering while the demon was asleep, he asked if they were ever going to happen (or however he worded that). She said no it was never going to happen. Now, that might have been her saying that out of anger from what he did to her and just wanting it to end. But, it was also revealed that she was sleeping with the other guy at the store. Bear had no game or confidence, and it's possible that had he had confidence and asked her out she might have. She was a little flirty in the beginning and gave him a wide open opportunity and he blew it. He was very unlikable. And yet the other girl liked him. Both men in the friend group were losers. The big guy was ugly and a dork and somehow she slept with him.

Schmoopie and I started watching it.

Not sure why she is so into him. He's kind of a dork.

Backrooms is a gem. Surprised such and open ended movie would sell that many tickets though, guess it has some kind of 4chan viral history? Anyways, it's comparable really only to the original Elm Street in its singular quest to enter and violate your actual dream space.

It's a nightmare/dream movie only for adults. The nightmare is the banality of your dreams as you get older and the monster ho will eat you is yourself who failed to live up to your dreams. Riveting stuff and immediately recognizable as all those uncomfortable dreams you were all too glad to forget. At least that is how i saw it vert clearly, with the fuze box to access the backrooms being you have to shut off your active brain completely and turn on the dream brain/red switches. The discarded furniture, the people you forgot who are just more furniture in your memories. Yeah, this movie will stay with me.

Saw the teenage sex and death movie last night. Has good reviews but didn’t really do much for me. Have not watched the series Hacks yet, so no clue who the lead actress was, but looks like she’s been in almost 50 esp of that show so I suspect anyone who’s watched it knows this films lead quite well.

She had a shockingly great rack that @HazletonEagle would approve of that was on full display, so that might be the highlight for some who find the movie as "eh” as I did.

I just saw "Buffet Infinity" last night. and I really just can't understand what types of drugs this director is on. He's also the director of "The Outwaters," which had a ton of hype before releasing, it flopped, and it was also a "WTF did I just watch?" type of movie. It kept me intrigued just enough to really scare my wife to the point where she might make me go to therapy. This movie is a series of 80s television ads that tells a story of how this monster buffet moves into town and starts taking over everything. Then after that it gets weird.

I saw the End of Oak street and for some reason I can’t explain……I loved it. It’s probably bc I love dinosaurs and

There was a cute scene where the brachiosaurs were humping and I took my pants off for a couple minutes until things cooled down.

Now THATs how you spoiler tag!
