Yes I think the majority are looking at their bottom lines first and foremost, and they or their family do not get involved intimately like having direct oversight of football operations.   They usually appoint a GM or Director to handle those duties and report up to the owner.

The business side?  Looking at gate and ad revenue, tv deals, etc., sure, theyre probably more generally involved there because many modern owners are businessmen/women.

 

Ive tries searching around, but since the Philly sports media now suck and can't actually ask any questions, and the Eagles media dept is now abandoned, Id love to know who will report to Julian and who he will report to .

When they say the sky is blue, that's a fact, and then he says blue is his favorite color, that's an opinion, I disagree.  Blue is his favorite color is a fact also.

I preferred the play calling in the first half of the season. We just didn’t have the personnel to execute.

I think most of the issue is that Julian is a weenie name and he has a potentially punchable face.  Also, he dresses like a a rich preppy guy that went to an Ivy League school.

I agree, I think they try to keep it as simple as possible. Toddlers and logic are an interesting combination.

What about the Colorado Rapids and English soccer team Arsenal?  Is he involved on a daily basis there too, or does he only care about the Nuggets and Avalanche?
