No where.  Philly rolls are only found in the Philly area.  There's something special about the water here (this is what local bakers have told me about why the rolls baked elsewhere don't match up).

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

Arch Manning commits to Texas.  Didn't see that one coming.

San Francisco has a similar situation with its sourdough bread.

They bake the rolls right in the store.

Exactly - There is a Cappriotti's that's now in NC.  They were a local shop in DE.  I have not been to the NC location yet. I will be disappointed if the roll isn't right.

Right down the road from me. Only been there once

Reggie White is not on your Eagles Mt Rushmore… literally a top 10 football player who ever lived.

What is even going on around here

I’d stab the MF that made Iverson look like Whoopi Goldberg.

That doesn't make a lot of sense.  There's a disciplinary officer Sue Robinson, jointly appointed by the NFL and NFLPA, who makes those decisions.

It was negotiated in the CBA.

There's a loophole in that. As long as she decides a discipline, Goodell has final say to adjust more or less her decision. The only way he can't is if she decides no punishment is warranted, than Goodell can't do anything. So I'm assuming everyone knows something is coming, and this is a negotiation for the final decision which would basically get the appeal process from Watsons camp out of the way.

I think this is just further proof NFL is pushing for a full year, and NLPA/Watson are pushing for less.

I am guessing that's the case.  I think a full year is likely the right choice for the NFL.

In DE, they're always good.

Smells of impropriety to me to have the player or his "camp" have any say at this point.

I've never asked an employee 'how long do you think I should suspend you for?' or 'should I fire you?' -- not even in an bargaining unit environment.

Maybe. I basically view it as a plea agreement. I'm sure both sides want to move on from this finally but at least it looks like NFL isn't bending over backwards to make it happen.

The best place I had down here was a place called Anvil's. Sadly they are no longer in business because the owner died and covid took them out for good. Philly family owned and ran.

Lived in Raleigh for almost 20 years and had not heard of that place.

How funny would it be if Kyrie goes to LA, KD leaves for wherever, and the only "star" left on the Nets is Ben Simmons

I have lived in Cary/Raleigh/Fuquay area my whole life
