Beyond that this franchise has no intentions of him becoming anything more than that. There is no scenario where they head in 2023 looking at Strong as their starting QB. And you talk crap on people who say "if I was GM" you are a jackass and a s****** .... Proof they have nothing in mind for the kid or you looking into your crystal ball of dumbassery

He'd rather accuse me of being you than stand on the things he believes and make a bet. It seems his favorite word is "delusional" which i find completely ironic.

When the Eagles signed Ruben Randle, RTK declared him the 2nd best WR on the team in the thread he started about the signing, I posted on page 1 that he was a camp body. Randle was cut and we all started making 2nd best jokes, with me leading the charge. RTK could not handle it and put me on ignore, and others made fun of him for it and started quoting my posts to mess with him, so he would put them on ignore. When he signed up for the new EMB, when we brought it up again, he still maintained that Randle was the 2nd best WR on the team.

Damn so his guy couldnt even make the roster when we had a WR room that consisted of Jordan Matthews, Nelson Agholor, Dorial Green Beckham, Josh Huff & Paul Turner? YIKES. I guess he was projecting when he said this to me. On 7/6/2022 at 12:25 PM, RememberTheKoy said: You're so completely ignorant about the sport that is extremely comical that you're even posting here.

He makes Jalen Hurts look like a field general. Richardson is headed for the UDFA pool or second chance U unless he gets a clue this season.
July 17, 20223 yr Posted an updated in the Blog Fantasy League thread. We're probably looking for two new players to fill a couple spots. If you played last year, confirm your spot in the thread I tagged you in. We'll get discussion going about any new rules and draft settings.

Read the sentence after the one you bolded. My comprehension and memory are fine. I also have the ability to read between the lines. To you hurts = good, anyone else on team must be bad. Reality is there are two better thrower of the football behind him and that makes his fans nervous so they attack. Watch their college film. Hurts threw to like 8 first round targets throughout his college career and they were often wide wide open and waiting for the ball. He still can't throw someone open. Strong didn't have huge separation to work with. He made NFL throws throughout his college career. Without health issues, strong is probably 2-3rd rounder. I seen your list of other injured players coming into college and all of them were positions that are far easier replaced than at QB. Strong may never get past his knee issues, but so far Hurts can't get past his deficiencies

You think that’s higher than going on a smear campaign against Foles and then he immediately destroys the #1 defense and wins the SB?
July 17, 20223 yr This is what I’m most excited for in 2022: And then whatever Graham, Cox, Davis, Milton can give is just bonus. We should have a pretty stout pass rush

I'm excited to see QBs have to throw one up for grabs every once in awhile vs just a pitch and catch

Define "aggressive”, though. I think what’s really needed is for the defense to be "less predictable”. The Eagles defense got shredded by Brady (2x), Dak (2x), Mahomes, Herbert, Carr. In the other 11 games against lesser QBs the defense "looked” fine. Blitzing those top 10 QBs wouldn’t have given better results; the elite QBs want defenses to blitz them. I think the defense still would have gotten shredded by blitzing — it just would have been quicker pain instead of watching the methodical drives, where the Eagles defense never even got to a 3rd down much less forced a punt or a turnover. What Gannon needs to do is mix up his coverages, show one defense pre-snap then change it up at the snap to confuse the QB, force mistakes by deception. Blitzing is effective against the bottom-tier QBs so that can be part of it. The pass rush win rate won’t reap any benefits unless the QB is forced to hold on to the ball longer. Last season the better QBs knew exactly where they were throwing it before the snap, and the ball was out in less than 2.5 seconds with a completion rate of over 75%. That’s not enough time for even the best pass rushers to effect a play.
July 17, 20223 yr Slay and Bradberry rightfully get all the attention but our CB depth is really intriguing as well. Gowan, McPherson, Vincent, Jobe, and Goodrich is a solid group of developmental players. Eagles have a lot of irons in that fire.

And with the addition of Jobe and Goodrich, it is pretty exciting. Really feel like at least 1 of them should become a player.

More press coverage and more blitzes. I would've preferred the quicker pain over the long methodical drives. Would you rather be shot in the head or stabbed 10 times? I dont put much stock into how the defense performed against the likes of Darnold, Goff, Z. Wilson, D. Jones, Bridgewater, Gilbert, Siemian, Heinicke & Glennon just like i dont put much stock into Hurts winning against teams led by said QB's. I agree with you that he needs to disguise more. The defense was way too vanilla last year. The excuse was that he didnt have the personnel he needed. Well now he has a mammoth athletic freak DT, a legit #2 CB, a double digit sack guy in Reddick and what i believe to be two decent coverage LB's in White & Dean who are fast enough to get after the QB when they blitz. Hopefully he mixes it up this year.

Pretty much the opposite of our safety group where there's no top end talent or significant developmental talent. But it's nice to finally have one of those groups looking promising at least.

I honestly wish they wouldn’t have signed Bradberry and threw the young guys out there. Howie "invested” in them, be it the bare minimum, but give them a shot. Either one of them has it or they don’t. Bradberry is gone next year anyway so you’re going to be drafting, signing or just having the young guys battle just one year later.

Bradberry is a really good scheme fit and it gives the team time to evaluate the young guys without any pressure to play em. Next year if one of em hits they can let Bradberry walk. If not they have an inside track to resign Bradberry or potentially get a comp pick if he plays well and walks. CB is one of the positions I'm OK with them over-addressing.
July 17, 20223 yr Interesting conundrum. If Hurts gets injured and misses this year (or a large portion), what do the Eagles do? Wait until next year to see his improvement or draft a QB? Gotta think draft a QB right? That would be a terrible situation for him to find himself in.
