No, they're not. I adjusted anyone's post counts that wanted their old EMB numbers added to their accounts here, but those numbers don't affect the board's total number of posts. Those numbers are only a display number. Otherwise, we'd likely have been over 1,000,000 posts within the first week that we were operating.

The database knows how many posts are entered into the system. In fact your post that I'm quoting is actually the 1,015,573rd post to be registered in the database. That means that more than 15,000 posts have been deleted in the past 2+ years (for whatever reason, like spam or user deletion or whatever).

So the board's total running count is how many posts are currently on the board at that given moment, and not BS. If it was, I'd know that and wouldn't be watching for and posting about that milestone to be surpassed. The board's total post count only goes up when a new post is posted and only goes down if a post gets deleted.

So everyone can take a small bit of pride in the fact that we have that many posts, considering the reason given by the Eagles for closing the old EMB (lack of activity).

OK, under my userid it lists 2,305 posts, I started from 0 after my ban, I think it's highly unlikely that I have 2,305 post within 1 year.

We (the EMB) currently sit at just over 940,000 posts. We're on pace for about 40,000 posts for the month of May. So it's looking like we'll break 1,000,000 posts within the first couple of weeks of J

Per Geoff Mosher:

* The passing game, once again, was just OK. By my estimate, Jalen Hurts was only incomplete on two passes, an underthrow to Dallas Goedert and overthrow to A.J. Brown after Brown put a late move to the outside to shake James Bradberry, but Hurts was generally crisp on his slants, checks downs and intermediate throws.

He wasn’t intercepted – which was a topic of conversation earlier at Sirianni’s presser after some recent turnovers – but he also didn’t take many, if any, opportunities to drive the ball downfield. He also left the pocket in a 7 vs. 7, which always surprises me because there’s no pass rush to flush him out. His best throw led Brown over the middle in 11s, allowing the explosive wideout to gain more yards after the catch.

But the Eagles have too many weapons who can make plays downfield to lack an efficient aerial attack. If you didn’t know anything about the Eagles and watched the entire practice, you wouldn’t know second-year wideout DeVonta Smith is one of the team’s best weapons.

This is really discouraging.

-Hurts did a good job of getting the ball out quickly and on target to his quick slant options to set them up for YAC. A short throw he had to A.J. Brown and another to Boston Scott stood out in this regard. Given that Hurts has struggled to get the ball out fast and over the middle of the field in the past, this was nice to see. It was also good to see Hurts connecting with Brown on a throw to the left side of the field, an area of the field he's targeted far less than the right side, to beat Darius Slay.

- Gardner Minshew is in no position to seriously challenge for the starting job. He was picked off twice in today's practice. The first time was a short pass that was nabbed by Shaun Bradley. The second came when a ball intended for Jalen Reagor was tipped by Darius Slay and caught by Marcus Epps (Epps continues to be around the ball). Minshew did have a nice anticipatory throw to fit a ball in a window to Noah Togiai and another ball to Reagor along the right sideline. But there's been more bad than good.

-Reid Sinnett has quietly been solid relative to low expectations. I'd say he's currently ahead of Carson Strong for a QB3 spot that may or may not exist on the 53-player roster. Sinnett connected with Deon Cain (who's been the best of any receiver not locked in to make the roster) on a post and then hit a tightly covered J.J. Arcega-Whiteside for another completion.

-Strong got picked off during the Eagles' developmental period towards the end of practice.

Answer this question honestly, if Hurts end up being a bust, will you actually admit it or will you make excuses and say the front office made the wrong choice?

No I'll admit it.  No reason not to.  I was a huge Carson Wentz guy but when it was obviously clear that the time had come to bench him I was all on board for it.  And then I was all on board with moving on from him when it was clear he wanted out of here and the Eagles were going to pick Howie over him.

The full Hurts write-up not edited with only positives

JALEN HURTS STOCK REPORT: The good news is that Hurts was better than he was in his previous two practices. The bad news is that his passing performance was a mixed bag.

The positive: Hurts did a good job of getting the ball out quickly and on target to his quick slant options to set them up for YAC.

The negative: When he wasn't getting the ball out super fast, Hurts had a tendency to hold on to the ball too long. For example, there was a play in 7-on-7 when he drifted right (as he's wont to do) and eventually jogged forward to end the rep. Hurts restored to a lot of checkdowns and really only pushed the ball down the field once ... when he well overthrew Brown, who had a step on James Bradberry.

The rest: Hurts completed a pass over the middle to DeVonta Smith, who had gotten wide open. The ball was thrown slightly behind the target.

Overall, Hurts wasn't especially good or especially bad. He was somewhere in the middle. Stock even.

If you don't have that many actual posts, then it would be because you  asked me to include your old EMB numbers, so I adjusted it to reflect what you had posted there, so that this board would have that continuity.

If I did add those numbers to your profile, they don't affect the overall board stats. They only affect the number displayed in your profile, on you posts and the numbers for you on the leaderboard.

But let's investigate a little, shall we?

Let's look at your content: https://www.eaglesmessageboard.com/profile/896-eagleva/content/

92 pages of posts listed as existing on this board. 25 posts per page for pages 1 through 91. 21 posts on page 92.

25x91= 2,275 posts in the first 91 pages of your content.

21 posts on page 92. 21+2275 = 2,296 Posts available on the board from you.

As I type this, you show as having 2,306 posts. 2,306-2,296 = 10, so you've either self deleted 10 posts, mods have deleted 10 of your posts or you asked me to adjust your post count by 10 (which I know I didn't, so scratch that one off the list).

Those 10 posts that were deleted, do not reflect in the board's overall post count. Your 2,296 do.

Only actual posts that are currently in our database count in the board's overall total post count.

You joined April 27 2020, that is 826 days.  2307 posts divided by 826 days is 2.8 posts per day.  That is 19.6 posts per week.  You had 25 posts last week.

For the record, you did not redeem yourself in any way, shape, or form here, which is why that part is omitted from the gif.

He probably forgets posts like this that he makes............................................Adrian Killins, the player that is so very special he has never been active for an NFL game, and only been on an active roster for one NFL game.

He's tiny but it won't matter if they make him the slot receiver, he'll be total fear for any LB, Corner or Safety assigned to cover him.

Do you think he even realizes that this board is not in any way affiliated with the Eagles official site, and he is actually arguing with the board owner ??

Of course he doesn’t, which makes it even funnier.  His common sense and awareness remind me of James from the ask Dave section. I miss that little fella.

But whatever, I'll just stop posting as much, I guess I get drawn in to replying to those that disagree with my posts.

I understand his misunderstanding of the counts. When the board opened (and still to this day), I offered to adjust everyone's post counts to take the old EMB into account. That was because of how things went down and us (as a community), wanting this board to be a seamless continuation of and not a total rebirth of, the old EMB.

All of that was done at each members request. Some did not want the old stats (initially). Some did. Some that did not, later asked for them to be included and if some later ask me to do that, I'll be happy to do it. But don't let anyone believe that those personal post stats are 100% reflected in the board's overall post count.

The only posts that are included in the board's total numbers, are actual posts that actually reside in the database.

No, it's all good. Post as much as you wish, or as little as you wish. Have a good time with it. But rest assured, you have almost 2,300 actual posts on this new EMB. If you would like for me to include your old EMB post stats, I can do that (when I have the time to find you in the archive).

But the nearly 1,000,000 posts that the board's count shows, are actual posts here on the new EMB. There's nothing inflated about that number... it's actually deflated by the number of delete posts that I spoke of earlier.

But post away, have a good time.

BLG is the biggest Hurts hater in the media. At this point he just wants to be right. A stock even from him is about as good as it gets.
