If we can land TO to go along with McNabb we got a shot at getting to the Super Bowl

I'm sorry I brough such a depressing topic into the blog.  A little back story without too much detail. I met my friend 12 years ago during an AF commissioning program. He was on top of the world

Ugh!   By going back an exaggerated amount of time all at once, you lose the subtlety of the humor.

No worries.  Just watch and learn.

I almost said that, but didn't want the blog to descend into another endless Hurts conversation. It is something he will see and think, yep, I'll do 700lbs

681.75 lbs. He looks to improve 1% at a time ya know?

Super Bowl win moves them from JAG's to above average starters.

I'd say the chances Bradberry signs here are very slim.  This isn't a Steve Nelson situation.

Here's your list of available FA CB.  Long list of 1-year stop gap veterans who probably want a ring, a couple of high round draft pick busts and a bunch of JAGs who offer the same as what the Eagles have on the roster.

Trae Waynes- 29

Joe Haden- 33

Kyle Fuller- 30

Chris Harris- 32

Janoris Jenkins- 33

Kevin King- 27

Xavier Rhodes- 31

Jimmy Smith- 33

AJ Bouye- 30

Travis Carrie- 31

Vernon Hargreaves- 26

Darryl Roberts- 31

Ryan Smith- 28

Josh Norman- 34

Richard Sherman- 34

Nevin Lawson- 31

Maurice Canady- 27

Jason McCourty- 34

Mackensie Alexander- 28

Fabian Moreau- 28

Desmond Trufant- 31

Robert Alford- 33

Greg Mabin- 27

Torry McTyer- 27

Donte Deayon- 28

Joshua Kalu- 26

Kevin Peterson- 28

Trill Williams- 22

Chris Lammons- 26

Nick Nelson- 25

Grayland Arnold- 24

Zane Lewis- 24

Dane Cruikshank- 27

DeMarkus Acy- 24

Gavin Heslop- 24

Khalil Dorsey- 24

Damon Arnette- 25

Kareem Orr- 25

Unfortunately I agree. Adding Bradberry would really be the icing on the cake to what has been a pretty good offseason though. Either way, they need to add someone to protect themselves from McPhearson, Gowan, etc not stepping up and being at least adequate as a number 2 corner with a lot of S help over the top. Waynes probably makes the most sense assuming they don't pay up and bring in Bradberry.

If we lose that game and Jefferson goes off, someone gonna have some explaining to do.

Metcalf single-handedly knocked them out of the playoffs and no one answered for that, so I think Jefferson going off in a week 2 game won't have any repercussions.

It would be a good signing but the safety room is a barren wasteland.

Wide gap between 1 and 2.  Smith was so underrated by so many.   If not for the knee injury, he was on a trajectory to be even better than Allen.

I don't know if he would have been better than Allen.  Smith would have been very good for awhile.  I don't know that he would have been better than Allen.  Allen had great ball skills and had over 50 career INTs, 8 career TDs on INTs and over 800 INT return yards.  He should be in the HOF.

5. Mills/Darby

6. Slay/Bradberry

I don't have facts only figures.  My figures are full figured.  That's what I know.

How was Brown/Lito better than Brown/Asante?  Asante was a far better corner than Lito.

No it doesn’t.  JAG’s would be a compliment to them.  They were bad.

The Eagles should retire their numbers and put them in the ring of honor.

The rankings are objectively based.  I didn't make them.  Asante didn't have a cool chant.

Right, but filling one of the two positions makes the back end of the defense better as a whole and Bradberry is the best player currently available in the secondary and it's not even close.

I do feel like he'd be a good signing.

I would rather we get a Reagor earns a game check game.

Stop sport.  Just stop.  We all know they’re history.  At least most of us real fans know without having to Google it.  They have won 1 Super Bowl.  When someone says "win” I’m talking winning things that matter.  Not being 9-8 and squeaking into the playoffs because of a weak schedule like last year.  And 2018, 2019.  Outside of the glory of 2017.  This is a slightly better than average team the past 15 or so years.

Maybe.  He plays for the Giants.  So who knows.  Gettlemen is kind of a goof.

Everyone wants to use 20 years cause reid had the best run in franchise history in terms of regular season wins and even postseason wins. Since 2005, they are 12th in the league in wins (144-127-2). Since 2010 they are 12th in wins with 100-92-1. Since 2015 they are 58-54-1 which is 13th. Since howie came back as GM in 2016 they are 51-46-1 which is 13th. So the eagles after Reid’s peak years in 2004 which is 18 years ago have been pretty consistent at being around 12-13th in the league.

Smith was ALREADY better than Allen when he suffered his career altering injury. He was going to be a STAR.

With all eyes on him on a Monday, he'll be one handing passes all night long

I thought it was the finger wag swag that did it.

Agree 100% with the bold, but still stand by my earlier assertion.  Smith was a beast... very briefly.

He's a good Zone CB

If my grandma had a wheel she'd be a bicycle.

Sure Ben Smith was on upward trajectory but ultimately didnt because of the injury.

Taylor and Vincent both made pro bowls as eagles Smith never did.

Also ronyell young and herm Edwards were a pretty good pair as well.

Darby and Mills shouldnt even be in the top 10, Darby barely even played as an eagle as he was always hurt  Mills was trash out side of the red zone for one season.

I'd go

1 Vincent Taylor

2. Allen ,Smith

3 .Asante, Brown

4. Lito, Brown.

5 Young, Edwards.

Wouldn't surprise me if he has one, maybe even two catches for 13 yards.

It was terrible his career was cut short.  I just think Allen was a HOF caliber player.

You know they are going to force the ball to him that game. He'll pickup a first down after a gain of 8 and do the griddy.
