May 13, 20223 yr Author The weighted average number appearances per team is 3.3. Our opponents' average is 2.8.
May 13, 20223 yr Jimmy Butler post game saying he wishes he was still on the 76ers is the dagger to the heart to end the night.

They should probably go for another run next year, do the best they can to support him, and if he’s injured again for the playoffs, then it’s time to cash out and re-process. @downundermike calls me out on it, but this is the entire reason why I said I was not willing to offer the super max. I would have drug it out till the last possible moment, and offered him less. If he demanded a trade because he didnt want to wait, or if he demanded a trade because we insulted him not giving the super max, so be it. I would have been willing to trade him. A player who cant play to his maximum capability in the post-season is nearly valueless to a team with championship aspirations. Hes a super max to a sucky team in a small market who wants to just sell tickets. Hes not a super max player to a team who thinks they can try to win a championship. He has proven he has never been healthy in a post-season. Not once in his career. And his performance has always suffered from it. Who actually thinks next year will be the year for him? Not me. He will continue to be injured by late in the year. And soon he will start to regress as history shows with short careers for big men. And that contract will be unmovable. I love him all year long. I love the toughness he showed playing through these injuries. I appreciate what he will do for us as fans. But the bottom line is, he is never going to deliver what everyone wants most. He will eventually win a championship as a role player off the bench for some other team. Wont be here. Never as the centerpiece of a team.

I don’t think it’s just a travel distance thing either. Also Eagles have been playing like crap recently in Jerry World. This doesn’t help that.

But, I'm not expecting the Eagles to be in division winning contention this year, so it doesn't matter much to me.

Have our first baby on the way in August so it may be a while. Highly recommend Excellence (not the El Carmen one, just original).
May 13, 20223 yr Going back to the schedule, Eagles should absolutely be expected to win Week 1, but could that be the worst time to draw the Lions? Weird stuff happens early, Lions could be healthy with a decent offense with Swift, Chark, St. Brown, maybe Williams, Hockenson, Reynolds against a defense that will be newish and may take a few games to gel.
