Teams absolutely need to know. I don’t even know what you are trying to imply. I’m not saying the leak Twitter is correct or not. The entire front office was sitting in their war room, and they reacted to each and every week. The video was released after that day, but it happened on the day of the release. It was around noon, and it was pointed out that the league makes 31 other phone calls like this that day. They give the teams several hours lead time so that they can have their internet people create some official looking page that the can unveil at exactly 8PM. So yeah, it sure as hell seems to me that the teams do NOT know for sure until early that day. Any leak now would have to be coming from someone in the league office. There have been several shows about how the schedule is made and I think it’s pretty consistent that teams don’t know until usually the day of.
