Players go where the money is.  Few are going to get worked up on that other stuff if only one team calls... they'll pick up the phone.

To many fans don't realize this is a job for these guys, and at the end of the day they are loyal to the almighty dollar, and that's it.

Fans are invested in the team for life, players are not.

I agree that there is a fit element to the players that the GM has to consider.  I think we have to consider that roster cuts of low round picks happen to every team and it doesn't necessarily reflect a lack of skill or fit.

Sure, but some other team found a way to make it fit.

IMO it's a case by case basis. Chip/Scouts evaluated Poyer as a CB. He stunk and went to S on another team and became All-Pro. It's a miss all the way around on this side because they missed his evaluation as a CB and then missed on not moving him to S.

Howie getting credit for that feels like the kid who got an A on the group project but slept through most of the work.

Only a true collaborative talent like Howie knows when to let others step in and make the right pick.  He also knows when not getting in the way of someone else making a bad pick is the best thing for the team.  He's genius.

Not sure why he didn't get more reps, he is throwing some dimes in that video.

There's still hope.  They could have vut him and not signed him to the practice squad as part of their plan to sign him after week 1 when they cut Hurts and name Strong the starting QB.

No doubt.  Maybe if him and Julian became buddies he can get a job covering the Eagles.

He is still basically a rookie at making hype videos, give him time to develop.

Because they asked him to throw some nickels.   Dude doesn't even know his coins.

Tay Gowan joined Minnesota’s PS eh? I wonder if he even had a choice to return here.

This is the dumbest, assanine thing fans do.

money = money. The mortgage company doesnt care about the eagles/cowboys rivalry. His car note, his kids college, his grandkids college. You're put on this to provide.

We could only wish that our arch rivals called us and offered a 667,000 a week pay check for the next 3 weeks.

Player advocate. I get it.

He's got a huge bag o' loot, pretty sure he and his ancestors til end of days will be fine for money.

I'm focusing on the decision to play for a known dastardly rival ( if they"ll have him after Tyron went down) to pick up a couple extra bucks at the expense of his Eagles Legacy. He knows full well the disdain we all have for anything Cowboys....

Chase the buck? Okay but he ain't no rookie, been bankin for years. See the diff?

Did it upset you this much when Randall Cunningham, Harold Carmichael or Tommy McDonald played for the Cowboys ??

As much as I appreciate what Peters did for us I couldn’t care less if and where he plays. Idk why anyone would. He’s a professional athlete and runs his own business that way.

Yeah, when the Cowboys Tackle (Tyron?) sp inevitably went down again, any port in a storm. I don't blame JP, but I do anyway.

Fargin Traitor...

Doesnt seem to be an orchstrated effort by multiple posters against one poster so why would I ?

Go get another saltine ...

The NFL loves dialing up rivalries as it drives business. But you look at it differently when you realize they don’t really care about cities nor it’s people. It all about the all mighty buck.

This is a job for players, and they are loyal to one thing, the almighty dollar.

I am not liking the racial overtones of this comment.

We all agree that there’s no way in hell Reagor gets us that fourth-round pick, no matter what the threshold is, right?
