All this Colts drama will end with Nick Foles playing against the Eagles, calling his own plays...

The kickoff of that game will be moved ahead 24 hours.

I had a buddy flip one and die when I was in 8th grade.  I'm pretty sure any of us who grew up in the era know of someone who had an accident on one.

The only way to not flip one...weigh it down so much it can't.  Doesn't look like 4 white horses to me.   Apparently Andre loved the 3 wheeler and used it to get around on his farm.

If you don't want to read, in short it says that Lane said he might play 2 more years after this year.  Knowing that, do you bring Dillard back with a plan to move Mailata to RT in the future?

No

I hope Lamar throws 12 touchdowns. Unless that's your team on the right in which case I hope they only run the ball.

Smoking pot 25 years ago was a much bigger deal than it is today though.

It really wasn't, but I understand that perception.

The second @EaglePhan1986 mentions his dry spell you come out of nowhere (pun intended) and stick your tip right in the convo!

Actually on a pretty long dry spell so I’m hoping someone tells me that soon…

I can’t believe I paid good money to watch Jeff Saturday coach Sam Ehlinger.

From a legality standpoint it was.  Rules and regulations have softened across the country quite a bit since then too.  Teams also didn't have the full access to players like they do today with social media so even if it was "just" weed, what else might Sapp have been doing?  No one knew and even if that was it, teams didn't know and had to be careful.

You also have to consider, the Eagles drafted Bernard Williams the year prior to Mamula and he was kicked out of the league for weed after his 1st season.  I think that had the biggest impact of all in their decision to not draft Sapp.

From my standpoint, being 41 and going to school in the 80s/90s smoking weed was a HUGE deal back then, especially in our rural area and coming from a family like I did.  No one in my family, extended family or family friends smoked or drank so I wasn't even around cigarettes.   In school, kids that smoked cigarettes were considered "bad".  Weed was unheard of and if they did...HUGE deal.  Nowadays, in the same rural area, kids are mixed up with cocaine and heroine among other things which is scary to think about.

Congrats to AJ  Brown on passing Jalen Reagor on the Eagles all time receiving yards list.

You may get a bonus in Nick Foles.

You don't know what a bargain you got.  You can't buy this type of entertainment.   A guy who's never coached a down in the NFL... taking over a flaming dumpster fire of a team... and a QB that just needs a chance.

As TO would say... "Get your popcorn ready."

Underrated funny part of all this is Irsay could have done almost the same concept and named Reggie Wayne interim Head Coach and it would make more sense because he’s an actual coach on the team.

That would have shown some semblance of sobriety.

That Titans game will be a huge test.  Good chance that Jordan Davis isn't ready by that game and even if he was, Derrick Henry is a different animal.

And then that Bears game as well is going to be a very dangerous trap situation.  Sandwiched between the huge games that will be the Giants and Cowboys, 2nd of 3 straight on the road.  Bears offense has started to find life the last few weeks.

I think we ultimately end up going 14-3 with our 3 losses coming to the Titans, Bears and then one Giants games or the @Cowboys game.

You had us at 20-0 the other day. Hurts won't let us down, right?

What happened to 20-0?

The Titans can't score.
Points: 20, 27, 24, 21,19 (includes defensive TD),17, 17.

Keep in mind that the Titans are getting turnovers (12 in 8 games) that helps fuels their scoring.

I can still see it.  But that's more of a fan inspired prediction then one looking at the difficult schedule once December hits.

Titans can run though and it's the one area, besides Special Teams, that is a weak point for our team.  We don't play the run well and we don't tackle well.  Derrick Henry is a monster who is now clearly fully back from his broken foot.  They are a defense that gets a lot of turnovers and outside of their game against the Bills in week 2, they don't give up a lot of points.  Not too dissimilar from our own defense.

I think we are better than the Titans and it's certainly a game that the Eagles could win and should win especially with it being at home.  But that's a dangerous game and a tough matchup that goes right after what our defense is not good at.
