Goedert out. Avonte Maddox out now seemingly forever. @EaglePhan1986 do they still live together in that big house?  You probably follow them on Instagram. Are they hurt or are they running around that house in their cowboys and "native American” costumes with pop guns?  I smell something fishy, and it’s not a fachina. I’ll investigate and report back.

Foles is a really good comparison as he was born into a rich Christian family much like Wilson.

Also like Wilson he was a multi sport athlete in high school, both played PG on their highschool team.

Foles had a different aura about him though, his teammates loved him, they would jump in front of a bus for him where as Wilson's teammates would rather push him into traffic.

He's from a rich area of Salt Lake (where a lot of "cocky dews" and ultra high maintenance women come from) who's uncle started Jet Blue and he probably got anything and everything he wanted his entire life. You saw in that press conference how well he handled adversity. Screw him.

I’ll say this… I’ve worked retail once in my life and the most rude, disrespectful, and entitled individuals were the ones who were clearly uneducated and most likely lived off the government.

I worked retail  more than once in my life and I  found the opposite to be true.

The worst customers are always the ladies wearing sunglasses ,bleached hair, carrying a 50 gallon purse with a toy dog in it, designer jeans that are 3 sizes two small sipping   a triple Carmel mocha frappe latte espresso between shrieks about the manager.

You know...Karen.

And I've found that there are salt of the Earth types and a-hole types from all walks of life and wealth brackets.

Oh he's beaten the 76ers plenty of times.

Circling back to yesterday’s discussion about the defense… The Colts aren’t a particularly good offense, but I saw what I wanted to see in terms of adjustments. I liked the extra run blitzes and keeping a big NT in on second and long. I don’t expect Joseph to play that well every week, but maybe with fresh legs he can maintain this level for a short period of time before Davis returns. I think Suh absolutely can be a key piece for the rest of the season.

Small tweaks combined with adding two run stuffers can make a huge difference in Gannon’s defense.

Milton Williams us been pretty good the past couple of weeks, even making plays in the run game.

Yup.  Judging by the group is always a failing proposition.  Anyone can be the best or worst amongst us.  AND... some of the best amongst us can have their tough moments too and come off as total jerks.

I disagree, he's had close to not talent around him on a defensive minded coach, with a d minded General manager and a kid as an OC who only got the job because of his brother. I also think it's too soon to call him a bust as he's only played a year and a half.

I think Wilson messed up when he demand a trade, or pull a Elway to not go to NY. It was just a terrible fit for him. Still is. Saleh is a Joe Flacco, Jimmy G, Matt Ryan type guy.

Stay in the pocket, hand the ball of 45 times, and make 6 completions on 10 attempts.

Zach Wilson is a Hurts, Tua kinda guy. Rolling out of the pocket. RPO, Spread, stretch the field type dude.

I like Wilson, the Eagles liked wilson, like I mentioned above... Wilson on this Eagles team, with this staff, looks 100000000% different then he does in **** NY

Wilson has showed nothing in his two years in the league.  He has shown zero improvement.  The Jets have won games in spite of him being terrible. The completely unprofessional answer lacking any and all leadership after this most recent loss shows that he has no shot at all of succeeding in this league.   You have to have a certain mentality as a QB to succeed in this league and he obviously does not have it.

When they get married will it be Avonte Goedert or Dallas Maddox? The point is I am happy for them and hope they get better soon.

We can disagree. You're putting a lot of hype into 1 answer, from 1 presser, after a bad game.

In July his team and his fans loved him for banging that dudes mom

in the off season Orlovsky got ripped for ripping Wilson.

It's a what have you dont for me lately league and you're putting too much weight into his one comment.

And again, He's in a  TERRIBLE spot as a QB

Darnold, Fitzpatrick, Geno Smith, Bryce Petty, McCown, Flacco....but sure, It's Zach Wilsons fault

It's an extremely telling answer.  There is no chance that he isn't hated throughout that locker room.

And it's not just that comment.  It's his body of work in the NFL in two seasons now.  He has been absolutely horrible and shown no improvement whatsoever.   The **** attitude with no accountability and leadership ability at a position that 100% requires that is the nail in the coffin for him.  There is no hope for Zach Wilson.

Define rich.  When Foles was growing up, his Dad was pouring what he made back into his restaurants.  He was working to build successful culinary chains.  The school and neighborhood Nick grew up in was upper middle class.  Nick attend Westlake (another NFL QB went there and an NFL backup QB, incidentally teamed with Nick, went there).  Larry Foles really didn’t come into real significant riches until Nick was an adult).  So Nick learned good work ethic and drive from his family.  His mom was a real athlete.

Really not sure what religion has to do with it.  Most people grow up with some religious influence in their lives (even secularists, agnostics and atheists get some religious influence, albeit maybe from a different perspective because a lot of religion isn’t about who or how you worship but rather how you interact with your fellow humans).  Nick learned how to interact with his teammates:early on by examples from his own family.  (He openly talked about his mom could beat him at everything.  Probably helped him retain his humble approach.)

Nothing about Wilson suggests great people skills.  The best leaders are humble and lead by putting their shoulder to the wheel.  Nick understands that but one gets the impression that like Larry, that’s just the way he rolls (bad pun but I couldn’t resist).  Interestingly, that seems to be how Hurts rolls too.  Suspect he didn’t get to be QB at Channelview because his Dad gave him the job.  He probably had to earn it more than those competing for the position.
