  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

Jesus Christ on nfl red zone they are showing highlights of the cowboys win and it’s the usual crap about them overcoming the Texans. It’s the Texans and no way it should’ve been even close. It’s like how the media went nuts over them beating the commodes least season when they kept their starters in for a half. It’s such BS

Wow that’s a blown coverage by the niners.

fortunate for that flag

Not sure it matters. I guess tampa as you can hope the niners fall off and miss the playoffs as i think their defense is really good and if somehow Jimmy G makes it back for the playoffs they are a better team.

Works for me.   :smoke:

What happened to Blankenship?

Leg injury of some sort. That field in MetLife is a hazard.

BG has 8.5 sacks.  Would be awesome to see him finally hit double digits.

Him and Cox have benefited from fewer snaps and not having to carry the load, imo anyway

Eagles had 12 possessions.

 - 6 TDs

Such a crap turf. They’ve had their own players on the giants and nets complain about it. Yet still some nothing. Not sure why you’d want to play there given the hazard and shortening of your career due to having to play 8 or 9 games there every year.

Just when special teams looked like it was turning the corner. The returns have been better. The coverage has even been better. Blocked punt gave the giants 7 points.

They did didn’t they. Was it last year or the year before that there was giants and jets game back to back and there was serious issues with it ?

Hurts is the first QB to have 10 rushing TDs in back to back seasons.

I think you can give them a break considering they were punting from the 1.

There was something like that. I know there was a giants player saying it was the worst

The NFL claim that field turf and regular turf have the same injury rate nowadays and are consulting players constantly on field conditions. Not sure why Metlife gets a free pass each year

Why? Cause that couldn’t happen on the playoffs where we need to punt inside the shadows of our goal post? You have to be even better given that situation knowing the situation

I don't mean this as a criticism of you. Not by any means. So don't take this personally.

But I think you nailed it. People who remember Cunningham fondly are often people who were too young to really know what was going on when he was actually a player. They look back through a different kind of lens than they do for players they watched later on.

I thought he was a good player, sometimes very, very good. But he was never some HOF caliber player who was being held back because of circumstances. He was never THAT good.

Well, I was an adult. Fresh out of college when Randall became the starter. I think the fondness felt for Randall is more the same as that for Vermeil, and Buddy Ryan. Vermeil turned around a long time losing franchise. Buddy brought winning back after suffering Marion Campbell for few years.

(With respect for Marion - very good DC, not so much as a HC)

Randall made Eagles football fun and exciting. We could see the pure talent but we didn't see the lack of coaching and guidance. ( I didn't learn about Doug Scovil and his deaths impact until years later).

I agree that Randall was the epitome of "what if" player. What if Scovil hadn't died? What if they found someone to replace him. What if  Buddy was able to get Jim Lachey and add other legit pieces to the Oline. Kevin Allen was a bad pick but I believe Ron Solt was born of being told no for players of Lachey's caliber.

FU @Original Sinfor abandoning your EMB fantasy team. Needed @schuy7to lose this week to make the playoffs 🤣

That’sa fail on the offense more than the special teams.

Yeah it was the niners and it says it was 2020. Isn’t it that natural grass fields have more give in them which leads to less injuries.

I hate when people do that

They could realistically have grass. The eagles have grass. Even Washington has grass. I know the patriots don’t anymore but they used to up until i believe 2006. They are actually talking about re-installing grass for the WC
