September 21, 20222 yr Author No mention of Slay. Whew! Also, it was a walkthrough today. So this is a projected report.

"Speaking of quarterbacks, uh, Brett Favre– I love that everybody gave him so much grief to retire. Brett Favre should retire? Are you out of your mind? He makes $12 million a year to play a game. "yeah, I’m gonna keep playing.” "Hey, Brett, the whole world thinks you should retire.” "you said $12 million, right? Yeah, they can go F themselves.” [laughter and applause] I would never quit, are you kidding me? What about in four years? He’s not good enough to be a starter, but he could be a backup in the NFL. Do you know what that pays? About $4 to $5 million. "Uh, yep, I’m gonna do that.” how about ten years? Not good enough to be a backup. But he could be on the practice squad. Do you know what that pays? About $850,000. "Uh, yep, I’m gonna do that as well. I’ll play forever.” it’d make the game more enjoyable if people weren’t allowed to retire. Athletes don’t wanna quit either. See some 70-year-old return a punt, like, "oh…” he gets hit, he explodes, he dies on the field with some honor. Yeah. And sports needs steroids. It does. Are you kidding me? Oh, baseball, certainly. Baseball’s a strike away from being soccer. Yeah. And if you like soccer, well, welcome to America. See, our country already has entertainment, so watching people chase a ball for four hours to end zero-zero is not enjoyable unless, of course, the bleachers collapse and half of Europe dies. [cheers and applause]" 8 minutes ago, Diehardfan said: Looks like a shelf or one of those beverage/food holders at the movies you can use while you work. September 21, 20222 yr @LeanMeanGM Heading into week 3 with a little momentum. 1pm game ( always like that) at a venue we usually own as visitors. Home Field Advantage on the Road? Washington fans are notoriously easy to silence. Been there, seen that. Down by 3, most of em bail at halftime... Commode Doors have O line issues while Gannon seems to have embraced the selective Blitz packages and dialing up some pressures with personnel rotations. Need that to continue and improve. Not concerned with our Secondary right now, they seem to have a handle on the coverages. I wanted Dean to see some snaps at LB but Edwards showed he's the guy right now. Wentz has some nice targets to work with and a decent RB but I fully expect him to go "Wentz" at least a couple times just because that's what he does. He can play but he will miscue at key times. Slay, Epps and McPhearson need to catch some of those balls...D line starts getting home in this one as Carson hestitates, looking for the Big play. Predicting 4 sacks. Eagles Offense will come out swinging. Boobie and Gainwell again, spelled by Scott, who continues to get extra yards on extra effort. Sets up play action, more than RO or RPO . Offense evolving. Downfield targets hit. Hurts upping his game again.. Back and forth early (NFC East as usual) but Eagles begin to assert themselves and eventually take over both sides of the ball. Coasting in the 4th. Just for fun, Kelce noted for repeatedly downfield blocking Safeties on running plays, 3rd level... Eagles 33 Commode Doors 17 Bonus; @FranklinFldEBUpper Covey Punt Return for TD...should have several opportunities...

September 21, 20222 yr @LeanMeanGM Eagles 31 - Redsk...err, Commies 16 Bonus: Haason Reddick with his first sack of the season.

Agree on Way, great leg, but opportunities may present...especially if he's punting from his own 2 yd line...wishcasting...

There are a couple things I've found with Firefox (on Linux but I'm not sure it matters.) Try opening problem pages in private mode. If that doesn't work, try Troubleshooting Mode. On my install it's under "Help". I won't do these unless I trust the page. I also run noscript and Ublock Origin. It's freaking amazing how many scripts from how many sites a page like ESPN.com runs.

The only time that a relatively low number of passing TDs becomes meaningful is if the total number of all TDs by the Offense is low ... and/or the RedZone conversion rate is lower than desired. Sure it is no arguing there but QB is the most important position in professional sports. The contract that's coming for Hurts is going to be substantial. Do you want to pay a guy who averages 1 TD pass per game $40 million/year?

September 21, 20222 yr Made the mistake of watching 10 minutes of NFL Network Fantasy Live just now. 3 No name Bozos in Metro gear bloviating. Play Wentz, he's due. Start Kirk, he's better than he just played. CeeDee Lamb will go off with Rush at the trigger... Don't panic on Kenneth Walker..who? Amari Cooper a sleeper standout, start him. Burrow is benchable. 300 Channels, must fill airtime. So sad the content.

I think what bothers me most about fantasy football is that over time -- and I'm talking decades -- people's perceptions about football change. They view the game only through the lens of fantasy football. Their evaluations about how good players are or aren't are based primarily on what kind of fantasy numbers they generate, rather than how good the player actually is.
