So a dedicated device for casting/streaming is much better than trying to use the hardware on a TV to process the picture and cast/stream. Devices like Apple TV, PS5, and Xbox have a hell of a lot better hardware to show a better picture and much better interfaces.

Yeah, my TV constantly loses its connection to my wifi so I use the fire stick instead. Works just fine for me.

Apple TV is by far the fastest.  I had a fire stick, and always check them out at other peoples house.  Folks are blown away when the see how fast and responsive the new Apple TV is.

I will time it tonight, from hitting the power button until I am watching something on youtube tv.  I bet it is under 10 seconds.

What would be nice is if Amazon would make the controller customizable.  I don't use Disney+ and hardly ever use Hulu.  If I could make those buttons, Prime, Netflix, YouTubeTV and Spotify that would be perfect.

I don't know if firestick has improved that functionality, but appletv lets you create folders for your apps, and put them in any order you want on the home screen.  Also, if I update one of my apple tv's with a new app, or move the app into a folder or somewhere else on the home screen, it updates all the other apple tv's to match.

That sounds interesting.  I never even considered AppleTV because  outside of my phone, I don't own any other Apple products.  I don't use iTunes anymore, I'm on Spotify.  I like the thought of being able to create app folders or customize where you want them.  

What else does it offer?

Here's a cute variation on the Power. We run it because of Kelce. The Power is a simple pull by one of the guards across behind the center. He turns up at the first opening he sees and the RB follows him. This is a gap run rather than a zone run. In this variation, it is the center who pulls around the guard. Minnesota is in a soft front, a 4-2 with the edge guys standing up.

Kelce pulls behind Dickerson, who is one-on-one against the DT. Mailata is one-on-one against the DE.

Dickerson has the DT well in hand. Mailata is turning the DE out. Kelce is turning up the B gap and Sanders is following. The safety (#39) is coming up in run support but here comes Zach Pascal (#26) Quez Watkins (#16).

Pascal Watkins takes out the safety so Kelce continues up the alley with Sanders right behind him.

Kelce cleans out the LB (#54). The free safety (#24) comes across to make the tackle...

...but Sanders gives him the hip and takes it away. You can just see Brown at the edge of the screen.

Brown has no angle on the CB. If he had the angle this play would have gone the distance. As it was, it was a 12-yard gain and a first down.

Meant the 30 seconds it takes. I have a button for all the major ones on my TV remote and it's basically the same time as changing a channel.

Was just thinking about other features, iphone comes with a built in apple tv remote, I like it when I am watching TV on the deck so I don't have to bring the apple tv remote outside.

Also, your TV remote will control the appletv, which is good for my wife as she hates the appletv remote.

I don't do spotify or those services, I am still pretty old school, and like my library on my PC.  I stream it to my bedroom / deck tv, and hook up my blue tooth speaker, which I can be almost 200 feet away from the apple tv and have no signal interruption.

Integrated.  I have never signed up for it, I hate edited and shortened versions of songs on all the music services.  I want the original.  

I am in the process of now figuring out a turn table that I can play through my PC and cast to Apple TV.

can that be done via BT?  I have a BT turntable that works great with compatible speakers.

A lot of that sounds like dumb apple propaganda that only apple freaks are dumb enough to buy.  But the processor is interesting because my TV is slow getting in and out of apps.

Another feature I like is all the screen saver options, when I am listening to music, I have the album art screen saver, so it shows the album covers for everything in my itunes library.
