The offense all and all played well but the difference was how bad Washington’s OLine was and Wentz being unable to adapt. He just holds onto the ball forever. 8 sacks but it felt like more.

Because it was 9?

  • Perfect weekend for me. I got to make my long time soul mate my wife officially. And I got a eagles win today. Life is good.

  • Listen up blog.  Enough. These 2 ass clowns are suspended for 2 weeks.  They've both had warnings to quit the personal attacks.  There's a line between trash talk and just abusing other posters a

I gave a lot of crap to the posters who used to invoke the Allen comparison for Hurts' progress.

I still doubt that Hurts could reach that insane level of QB play, but his progress has been very Allen-esque. Bravo.

Through 3 weeks, the defense has faced Goff, Cousins, and Wentz.  Not to kick a guy while he’s down, but against this same defense, Wentz decisively looked like the worst of the 3.

After today performance it seems Devonta and AJ are both on pace for over 1,000 yards.

AJ 309

Devonta 249

I've honestly never seen a QB who is easier to sack. No internal clock or pocket presence. His OL was bad, so he was going to have a tough day regardless, but he kills any chance his team has out there. He's hard to watch when he's your QB.

He is the worst of the 3, fairly easily.

Evers since he stropped his way out of Philly, he's not looked the same. Sad to see, but he did it to himself, so hard to have sympathy.

Jacksonville game is gonna be fascinating next week. Doug is doing a great job. Feisty group.

Through 3 weeks, the only problem with this team is ST.

And the second-half offense. We need to keep putting our boot on team’s throats.

With Bills & Chiefs losing there will be networks putting Eagles at #1 in power rankings this week

Gonna have to take an L here.

Thought Covey might be the guy, break something today but it sure looked like he's a fair catch guy with no vision.

@FranklinFldEBUpper did say Tress Way was the best punter in the league, don't disagree, but Covey had some wiggle room and failed to do much.

I'll wait for the Special Teams Blog to update but first blush is, If that is his only contribution to the Team, they may need to vacate his spot and sign a more productive guy. Edge rusher or somebody else?

Impressive win avoiding the letdown  vs a division rival. And totally dominant.

Ive fully recovered from COVID but the last few days I’ve had awful dizziness and pressure in my ears/head. Not sure if it’s an inner ear infection or vertigo or something lingering from COVID. All my other symptoms are gone though. Hopeful I can get in to see an ENT this week, watching TV is tough because of the motion sickness it causes. Might take some Dramamine or something not sure what exactly is going on though.

He's a tough SOB if nothing else. He got smacked around good today.

Classic TATE.

Can't complain about the win, so why not my own health.

Seriously...glad to hear you're on the mend.  The recovery is long and frustrating.  Hopefully you're in better shape when we don't score in the second half against Jags next week.

Agree 100%. Tough SOB. Not advancing the ball tho...

Dude.  When I had it, the sinus and head pressure was insane.  Some of the worst headache pain I’ve ever had.  It’ll subside.

Thanks, how long did it last for you?

He was noticeably less accurate today.  Likely because the windows were smaller than last week and he had less margin for error.

Even my daughter, who watches only some football, mentioned that he wasn't leading the receiver with his passes.

My hot take for the day: Quez Watkins is the most underrated player on this team.

He’s just another guy. His speed certainly helps but let’s be real.

Sorry to hear you’re going through that. I tested positive on Wednesday and thankfully I’ve just had some minor congestion/cough so far. I’m still testing positive. How long did you have to wait for a negative test?

My wife had Covid and had similar symptoms. She had an increase in fluid behind her ear drums that eventually subsided.

It's all Love Carson.   See you again on Monday Night when you come back to Philly.

I haven’t tested in a while, I tested a week ago and it wasn’t quite 100% negative the positive line was super faint you could barely see it, so I guess that technically means some of it was still in me.

I bet on 10 wins by them

I had something similar a month or so ago, but no COVID.  Was a bad inner ear infection but as someone prone to sinus issues, it was not pleasant it felt like everything in that area was swollen.  Went away eventually, but I've not slept that long in the week for ages.  Did 10 hours sleep straight one night and could have slept longer but had to work
