Having said that I really don't care what the colts do or dont do, if they're a dumpster fire for the next decade no flack off my back, I have zero vested interests in the colts other than when they play the eagles.

It was always clearly the best option. People around here acted like if you kept with Hurts this year to see if he would continue to improve (which he has) that it meant you were dedicating a massive contract to him so it was a dote emergency to throw away all resources and cap space to obtain Watson or Wilson.

He didn't defend Wentz.  But even if he had, and had he stated his opinion that Wentz is better than Ryan, which by any measure should be considered an extremely low bar, who cares?

The Colts haven't beaten the Jags in Jacksonville for years.  It's embarrassing actually for them how many times that they have lost to the Jags, no matter how bad the Jags have been.  For whatever reason, the Jags always find a way to beat the Colts... or flip it around, the Colts always find a way to lose to the Jags.

Why are people comparing Ryan and Wentz?  Because they were the last two QBs in Indy.  Why does it matter?  Because people were discussing if Reich was a good coach or not, and its a relevant issue for the discussion.

 

What doesn't make sense is why so many people need to make ad hominem attacks on others whenever they say anything even neutral about Wentz.  Sad state of affairs.
