Assault is assault. I don't care how "violent" you feel it is, you cannot go around and just push people. Keep your hands to yourself, it's what I have to teach my toddler.

Adams was absolutely in the wrong. Never said it wasn't technically assault, but not every assault justifies a lawsuit claiming damages. Adams should absolutely be held accountable with a fine or suspension. I'm just skeptical of the extent of the injuries this guy suffered from that. To reiterate, Adams shouldn't have shoved the camera guy, that's a horrible way to conduct yourself. But if (big if) the guy is trying to score a payday out of this, he should be admonished too.

You can go to the hospital for a splinter. It doesn't matter what his injuries were or how bad they are, you cannot push people, period.

You've seen the angle where the cameraman steps in front of him to block his way, right?  What do you want Adams to do -- pull out a pen and give him an autograph?

There's a right way and wrong way to do your job.  That camera man might very well lose his access to the field for all future games, hence the ability to perform his job.

Um, walk around the guy?

If someone is on the sidewalk in your way, do you push them out of the way or do you just simply walk around them?

I really feel like this could only happen to the Phillies at this critical juncture of the playoffs

The camera guy was moving out of his way anyway, he didn't run up to Adams and stop. All Adams had to do was turn slightly left or pause a half step and the other guy would be out of his way.

It's the end of the game and there are hundreds of people swarming around all at the same time. I guarantee it's not the first time in his career and even probably that night that someone was briefly in his way.

I don't know, maybe wait one second for him to clear and then walk to the locker room?

Since I've mentioned Stoutland having Seumalo pull to take on a blitzer off left end a couple of times, I thought I'd post it:

It appears that Goedert, lined up at TE, is going to have to block Dimukeje (#52)...

...but he releases. Seumalo is pulling from RG as Kelce takes on the DT. Opeta turns in . Driscoll has a good angle on Zach Allen (#94). Dimukeje must think it's Christmas. No one between him and Hurts.

Well, no. There comes Seumalo.

Punishing Adams wouldn't be overreacting.  You can't just push people.

If this was a car accident, Adams had the right of way.  He just gently moved the guy out of the way to avoid a collision.

There's an individual matchup that worries me: Parsons vs. Driscoll. If Mailata can't go this could be a Winston Justice level nightmare. I don't think Dillard will do any better if he can go. Just not healthy yet and no reps in two months.

Dillard will be in week two of practice this week.

Got an exclusive new footage of the Adams incident

If you consider the Cowboys elite, you have to consider the 9ers, the eagles, the bills and Tampa. And when(in my opinion, and stats wise) are all kind of mixed and matched category wise it means none of them are elite.

Let me ask you this...

Would you rather have.

14PPG, 3rd in sacks 18th in turn overs

or

17ppg, 1st in sacks, 1st in turnovers.

This should be a no brainer

I certainly do consider the Bills, 49ers and Bucs to have elite top defenses. Eagles have a ton of defensive talent but I'm still not completely sold on Gannon as a coordinator and need to see more of it over the course of the season but the Eagles do have one of the better defenses in the league for sure.

I don't know why you keep trying to turn this into an Eagles defense vs Cowboys defense argument.  You're arguing something out of thin air.  Cowboys defense can be great regardless of how good the Eagles defense is.  Cowboys defense being great has absolutely nothing to do with the Eagles defense.

If someone isn't watching where they're going and invades my physical space to the point where I have to stop to avoid contact, I tell them to get the F out of my way.  If it's a woman I leave out the F; if it's a little kid I give the parent a dirty look.

Those camera guys require a pass (badge) to be on the field; there are rules and responsibilities that go with it.  If he wants to be passive-aggressive and file a police report, I'll do the same and tell Raiders brass to make a formal request to the league to have his field pass revoked.

OK?  Annnnd?  That doesn't excuse what Adams did.  It's still assault.  You can leave your car door wide open, it would be dumb as hell, but it would still be theft if I reached in and grabbed your wallet.

The whole thing is just stupid. Adams was wrong for the push and the camera guy is wrong for taking the advice of some ambulance chasing lawyer who probably called him last night saying he could get him a settlement. No one was hurt or killed. It's a non issue that only warranted an apology from Adams which he did.

If Mailata can't go, then I hope Parsons' groin keeps him from being effective.  I do think Dillard wouldn't have to anchor as much against Parsons so he could potentially shut him down.

He filed a police report not a lawsuit.  He indicated that he went to the ER in the police report.  I imagine he went to the ER. One ER visit doesn't make for either a serious injury or a big lawsuit.  If he does have some more significant injury, then I think Adams should potentially have to pay those damages.  I haven't seen anything that indicates he wants to sue Adams for damages.

Because you keep calling the Eagles defense good, which is better than the cowboys, which you call elite LOL.

It's also weird that you keep giving the cowboys defense a TON of credit while they havent played anyone that good.

But  Im giving up. Cowboys, Tampa, Buffalo, 49ers elite, Eagles not

Yeah Eagles have a pretty good defense.  One of the better defenses in the league.  Big part of how a defense performs comes down to coaching though and I need to see it from Gannon first where he isn't getting out coached by good offensive minds and is able to beat good QBs. I already know those other defenses can do that because we have already seen that from those defenses.

But again you've turned into a very bizarre Eagles defense vs Cowboys defense thing when one has nothing to do with the other.  Cowboys have a great defense and you're completely incapable of acknowledging that.

Adams pushed him over.  I think the cameraman shouldn't have run in front of him but he wouldn't have fallen over if Adams hadn't pushed him.  If Adams just put his arms out to avoid a collision and that knocked the cameraman over, I would agree with you.  I don't disagree that there's a question of contributory negligence but ultimately people don't expect to get pushed.

Driscoll has played surprisingly well, LT isn't really his best position but he's held his own, would obviously rather have Mailata out there but Driscoll has been good and not sure Dillard is in game shape?

It’s because RTK is blinded by the Parsons love. Yes, parsons is playing fantastic right now, but the cowboys defense has weaknesses. Their run d is suspect, and wouldn’t you know it our offensive strength just happens to be their weakness.

But the media (and dolts like RTK) just slobber over Parsons and don’t go deeper

It seems like he's taking the preliminary steps to eventually filing a suit. He's following the playbook that some greaseball most likely gave him. And if no physical injury, he'll probably play the "mental trauma" card.

Assault requires intent and I don't know that Adams had the requisite intent.

I think Adams should be suspended at least one game. You can’t have players shoving people to the ground when they weren’t provoked physically.

Statistics are a byproduct of good defensive play. Individual stats get thrown out the window if, for example, the defense is letting up 30 pts a game.

That’s what I mean. You can try to use logic and reason, but all he sees is "Parsons = LT reincarnated” and thus the entire D is elite. He’s a moron
