From Reuben Frank article.

Including all players, there are nine 1st-round picks, eight 2nd-round picks, five 3rd-round, eight 4th-round, two 5th-round, ten 6th-round, two 7th-round and nine undrafted.

Most from the sixth round!?!?!

I get it. I also have an autistic child and if I were to make a guess, based on his posts, RTK and his absolutism points to him being on the spectrum. ASD that is. You and your buds continuously getting off on picking on him is just sadism. You are getting pleasure at the expense of the suffering of another. Do you get that? Who cares if his opinions are nonsense. Just ignore them.

What is happening right now??

Graham is old, Barnett hasn’t performed and is on a two year contract.  Sweat and Jackson only DEs signed for more than next year.

Cox maybe returns next year.  Hargrave an UDFA.  Depth are Dean, Williams and Marlon T.

Edwards and White are UFAs next year (bandaids). Those are your starting LBs.  Taylor (many wanted cut today) is the back up WIL.  An unproven Dean backs up at MIKE. Bradley signed through next year.  Yeah, our LB depth and quality is much better.  (Sarcasm).

Howie spent draft capital on the secondary.  Let’s look at what he got.  Scott, a back up Nickel/Safety, signed through 2023. CGJ, a slot back projected at S but on a one year contract.   Epps is an UFA next year, just like CGJ.  Wallace, who many wanted gone signed through 2023.  Blankenship, a try hard fourth S with troublesome speed.  So lots of bandaids

At CB, Slay and Bradberry are over 30 in 2023.  Bradberry here on a one year contract. Slay hits at a $17 million salary next year but with all the dead money, the savings with a departure are minimal.  Maddox signed for next year.

Let’s look at the talent added.  Davis at DT but facing a Hargrave departure.  Wash/bandaid.

DE - nothing.

LB - White for a year.  Dean afterwards but Edwards, is a UFA.  Wash/bandaid.

S. Epps and CGJ UFAs.  Bandaid   Addition is Blakenship otherwise

CB. Bradberry and cap burden Slay. bandaid. Addition besides Bradberry is Jobe, an UDFA.

Where is the amount of new talent that will be there next year?  Bandaids.

Seriously?  Every addition of young talent is merely a band-aid because a vet is leaving.

And you left out Reddick all together.   :nonono:

Greg Ward may well have been one of the most underwhelming WR the Eagles have ever had but he 100% was a respected player in that locker room.  I believe he was a lead by example kind of guy.  Even though his numbers were lousy, he was at least consistent when called upon.  He served his role with a WR group consisting of Reagor, Hightower, Fulgham, JJAW and the rest.

I think we'll see him end up as a good coach when his playing days are over.  I'm glad the Eagles have decided that they need more talent at the position but Ward was a solid pro for the Eagles.

Idk if an UDFA can be underwhelming. I'd say he overperformed based on that.

But yea I agree he was a solid pro, I liked ward. At the very least somewhat dependable during an era where none of our WRs really were. Definitely not a top WR by any stretch of the imagination but he's easily a bottom of the roster WR

Just want to clarify here as I’m perplexed. Are you saying that RTK has autism while also in the same breath trying to protect him from others? I don’t know what to think of this but I don’t think RTK would appreciate that message board diagnosis.

Don’t you dare question Dr. Next_Up!

One thing about Greg Ward, he has 130 career targets with 10 TDs and 46 first downs. Whatever your opinion of him, those are ridiculous numbers.

To be clear, I am saying that it is right to be decent to another person and that you don’t know the circumstance of their life. I was hypothesizing based on life experience about RYK. On these boards, we infer those circumstances, largely based on our context, and that this results in a base level of meanness towards others that we do not apply in real life.

Wouldn't mind picking up that Eze kid that was cut by the Lions. He is super raw, but with rare measurables.

If anyone can develop him, it's Stout.

Developmental project with extremely rare length who will need a technique overhaul to be ready to fend off NFL pass rushers. Eze is a former basketball player with a leaner lower body and a wingspan to find opponents before they find him. He's likely to have pad-level issues, so building up his base and learning to play with better hands is a must. He's a candidate for a draft-and-stash practice squad run to work on areas of improvement. Eze has swing tackle upside but a lower floor.

Question to those who know the waiver rules.  If the Eagles put Jobe or Scott on the IR tomorrow morning, can they withdraw waivers on any of the players waived today?

No. I’m assuming that you’re asking whether they can say, Hey we were only fooling when we put Devon Allen (your guy) on waivers and we’d like a do over. They can’t do that. But if he were to clear waivers, they could certainly resign him to the 53, after making an accompanying IR move.

You are right.  I was able to find the following that confirms what you have said.  I added the bold for emphasis.  Thanks for the quick response ... and yes, you have the right player name.

NFL Waiver System Overview May 20, 2015

The NFL and NFL Players Association Collective Bargaining Agreement sets forth specific rules for how NFL clubs can claim and release players using the NFL’s waiver system. Here is how the process works.

The waiver system allows player contracts or, in certain cases, a club’s NFL rights to a player to be made available by one club to the other clubs in the league.

The waiver period runs from the first business day after the Super Bowl through the end of the NFL’s regular season. Except in rare incidents, the waiver period lasts 24 hours and all waivers are categorized as "no recall” and "no withdrawal,” which means once a club waives a player, it cannot take the player back or change the player’s status.

My guess for the Practice Squad

Waiver Wire Claim   QB
Waiver Wire Claim   RB
Kennedy Brooks   RB
Devon Allen   WR
Deon Cain   WR
Noah Togiai   TE
Jack Anderson   OL
Waiver Wire Claim   OL
Waiver Wire Claim   OL
Kobe Smith   DT
Marvin Wilson   DT
Renell Wren   DT
Noah Elliss   DT
Tay Gowan   CB
Waiver Wire Claim   CB
Andre Chachere   S

plus Matt Leo as the International exemption player

1) The Saints' trade of Chauncey Gardner-Johnson to the Eagles made no sense. The 2019 fourth-rounder is headed into the final season of his rookie deal, and a few team-friendly explanations suggested New Orleans wanted to get something for Gardner-Johnson now, given that he wasn't going to be a priority in free agency next year -- but that explanation doesn't hold water. The Saints essentially received nothing in return: a 2023 fifth- and 2024 sixth-round pick in exchange for one of the league's best hybrid slot players and a 2025 seventh-rounder.

One season of "Ceedy Deuce" should be worth way more than that, and his production would have likely yielded the Saints a third-round compensatory pick if they'd been patient enough to wait for him to sign elsewhere in free agency next offseason. It was a salary dump before they even had to pay Gardner-Johnson his big salary. Per NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, "he really reacted to not getting the contract that he wanted" in extension talks with the team, but there have been no indications otherwise he was going to skip work or be a problem. Even the reports defending the Saints' position painted the decision as business, not personal. (The Saints, for what it's worth, also have a ton of cap space this season, having cleared room ahead of their failed pursuit of Deshaun Watson.)

It's clear the Saints feel great about their secondary depth. I do, too! But it's still puzzling that they gave away one of the league's best young players at his position. To put it another way: If Gardner-Johnson had been available in a trade in February, he would have been worth a second- or third-round pick at worst.

No. Kind of like calling out people to be decent to each other and offering a context in the golden rule way. Walk a mile in another’s shoes.  Also, I shared that I have someone in my life who is autistic. That is not mentally disabled you troglodyte. That is simply a difference and it often results in bullying. The point is accepting differences, opinion or otherwise, without the 4th grade bullying gangbang that you and your fellow infantiles get off on.

And depending on the extension CJG gets, may force the Eagles to draft a QB as they will not have money for a QB extension.

Oh wow, I just thought to myself a minute ago: At least the cap prophets finally shut the f.. up after this offseason.

Should’ve known better.

Is the possibility there that they play Chauncey Gardner-Johnson at nickel and Maddox at safety?

Just kind of odd how Sirianni said he won't discuss how the Eagles might use him.

They are acting silly secretive with all the things everybody already knows.

Wouldn’t read anything into it.
