I'm old school.   I want my starting pitches to be horses who can go 7, have a set up man or two and then your closer.  Obviously there are going to be games where you get yanked for a bad performance but I hate seeing a dominant pitcher get pulled after 6 because of pitch counts.  

I think a really neat concept for competitive professional leagues would be to have leagues that play by old school rules.  Too much governance is ruining our favorite sports.  

Pretty sure they do have to face a minimum number of batters now, I think it's 2 though

They do this with relievers. Anytime a reliever is brought into a game he has to pitch to at least 3 batters unless he gets injured. I agree with you about starting pitching. Sometimes these Managers depend too much on the analytics and not enough on what their eyes are telling them.

Tbh he was shaky in the cards series. Gave up a run in game 1. Game 2 he was a little wild. Today he was bad. He’s given up at least 2 hits in every outing so far.

tbh i ****ed for a month leading up to the deadline i thought they should get another front end of the rotation guy so that they could have wheeler, nola and that starter for a series then potentially only have to use Suarez for 1 start. My issue with Suarez was less that i think he’s not good enough but more he’s never pitched this many innings and that there’s a chance he just is worn down by then.  I still think this offseason if they could add someone like a Bieber to the rotation I’d do it. I’d keep painter at all costs but I’m not opposed to dealing McGarry and Abel to get Bieber. Rotation of nola, wheeler, Bieber, painter and Suarez is pretty good. Then use FA to fix the holes in the pen

One of my favorite blocks of all time was in this game when Lane Johnson used (what looked like) an MMA move and torqued Von Miller using momentum where he practically flipped over.  That block was impossible without perfect timing, athleticism, and full grasp of what Von Miller would be doing on that play.

I imagine it must particularly suck to be a Redskins fan this season.  The rest of the division is 13-2 combined heading into week 6 and the Redskins just seem to be getting worse and falling apart internally week by week.
