May 6, 20242 yr If we can somehow get Castellanos going would be huge. If he’s the same by the trade deadline i think you make a move for a bat.
May 6, 20242 yr This ump sucks. Both of those pitches to Rojas weren’t close to strikes. and then Walker hits the corner much closer and calls it a ball.
May 6, 20242 yr For the 2nd straight game, Thomson throws Walker out for the 7th inning and for the 2nd straight game, he gives up a titanic homerun. Walker is AT BEST a 6 inning pitcher. Count your blessings you got 6 solid innings from him and hand it to the bullpen from there.

May 6, 20242 yr Rojas had 2 chances tonight to make great plays and failed. Granted, they were both tough but that's supposedly why he is out there and not in the minors.

Also, if someone gets hurt as you mentioned pitchers are a delicate bunch. Will they be able to move him back and have him pick up where he left off? Bottom line is don't screw up a good thing. All that being said, what would you do? You talked around what you believe should be done, but you ducked actually making a specific recommendation.
May 6, 20242 yr Nice win but I'm gonna nit-pick. I'm not gonna say anything we all don't know but this team strikes out way too much. They struck out 11 out of their last 12 plate appearances. They had a game last week where they struck out something like 18 or 19 times. Hey, at least the Braves keep losing and it is nice to have a lead in the division for a change.
May 6, 20242 yr Hoffman won that game stranding the runner on 3rd in the 8th. Another series win and another win on top of a Braves loss. Couldn’t have asked for a better start right now and hopefully they keep it up for a long one
