Turner should be any day now

Could be back as early as tomorrow. Means have to make a decision on whit, Dahl, pache or Rojas. But since marsh was playing center field in his rehab i wouldn’t be shocked if Rojas gets sent down. Pache doesn’t have options left. I don’t see them dumping their $9 mil investment in whit. Dahl has played really well and subject to waivers if I’ve read correctly. Rojas can go down there and play outfield everyday and hit everyday. Maybe build some confidence up

I swear Santander is ok against everyone else but faces the Phillies he’s a Fing all star.

Our at bats each inning have progressively gotten worse. Rodriguez has 64 pitches through 5. Hasn’t had over 15 pitches in an inning the last 3 innings. That’s absolutely bad approaches at the plate. Doesn’t help Castellanos been miserable this series (0-7 and 1 for his last 12) and today has 2 outs on 2 pitches.

They win because of pitching, it better hold up

Well if Walker is back out for the 6th and 7th usually when he gives up runs. Last time Soto came in with guys he let on and gave up two. His first two starts i believe he gave up 3 run homer and 2 run homer in the 6th or 7th

Like clockwork. Quit Fing using him after 5. He always Fing sucks.

And here comes the implosion

Nearly every time Walker goes into the 6th or 7th he gives up runs. So far this year

SD: 3 run homer in 7th
SF: 2 run homer in 6th
Marlins: 0 runs in 6th/DNP 7th
SF: run in the 6th
Mets: 2 runs in 6th
Today: run in the 6th

our manager and analytics department has yet to figure this out.

and we are going to Soto so this should be 4-2 or 5-2 by the end of this inning lol

Oh good, Soto in

Alright let’s put in Soto to make it more than a one run lead

wow he actually got an out before a run scored. I’m shocked

I’m also shocked. that said they need to stop having Walker pitch in the 6th and 7th innings. His era in those innings is really bad. Particularly the 6th cause he’s only gotten past that 1 time.

I agree

Stubbs is super fortunate not to be picked off on that. I swear we have to be one of the worst base running teams in mlb and it’s been an issue dating back to kapler era

Rojas swinging at a pitch that nearly hit his hands on the swing.

Ruiz’s only pitch in the strike zone was the last one which was a mistake where Stubbs had his glove set up. But blew it right by mountcastle

Ofc Santander always kills the Phillies what else is new.

Nice job Ruiz 👏

Not that it matters because the Phils offense is terrible.
