Ah yes the Phillies dicking around all night and not putting the nationals away early was always gonna come back to haunt them.

Two things estevez has been bad recently (lots of runners on base) and the Phillies offense should’ve busted this wide open early in this game instead of scoring 2 against Patrick Corbin who has a near 6 ERA

The offense should have produced more, but the bullpen needs to hold a 2 run lead for 2-1/3 innings. 

Nothing like paying for the MLB package only for the Phillies and not being able to watch them when they play the Nationals (and Baltimore also).  Even more annoying……we get every Reds game televised here on Spectrum. 🤮

At least they won. But this game has no business being close. Offense has to be better against a stiff in Corbin and the bullpen particularly estevez can’t be this garbage. Feels like every week someone in the bullpen implodes. At least Hoffman and strahm looked solid. 

That’s a good win.

Estevez has to be better. Can’t have two runners on every night. His last 4 appearances he’s given up 7 hits and 3ERs and 4 runs. I feel like every week someone new implodes and everyone else is ok. One week strahm. Hoffman and estevez are fine. Next week Hoffman is awful and strahm and estevez are fine. Now estevez sucks and Hoffman and strahm are fine.
