September 12, 20242 yr Now go ahead and win the series vs. the Mets. That would put them nine up (or eleven) over the Mets with just 13 games left. The Braves would be at least 8 back.

It’s all teams over .500. The last 3 vs. the cubs are not going to be easy. They’ve been playing excellent baseball lately. They are 16-8 in their last 24. I’m really hoping over the stretch they can go 9-4 or 8-5. But i think 7-6 is more likely. If they can win 2 out of 3 against the Mets at home and 2 out of 3 at Milwaukee it would be pretty big. It probably clinches the division annd also likely a bye. Then just need to split the series in NY to get to 6-4 over the next 10. What sucks with this series is Saturday. The matchups vs. the Mets are nola vs Quintana, allard vs. severino and then sanchez vs. either manea or megill. Really would like to win Friday night because game 2 with allard vs. severino favors the Mets.

If the Braves line sale up right he has 4 starts left against dodgers, reds, Mets and royals. If he doesn’t look great in dodgers and Mets series that might cost them a playoff spot and are big games. The Phillies can lineup wheeler 3 more times at brewers, at Mets and at nationals. Good chance the nationals game wheeler doesn’t do his typical start as might not be anything besides his cy young candidacy left. I think if sale pitches well in the dodgers, reds and Mets series probably just gonna have wheeler make the start but not go deep as they want to give him some live action as a chance with the bye he would be on like 8-9 days rest from that start.

September 13, 20242 yr Well, it’s good that Schwarber and Realmuto are back. However, Alec bohm is eligible to going to come off the IL today. And he is still not. Which isn’t good.

September 13, 20242 yr Would’ve preferred seeing him swing a bat to see if his hand bothers him on the swing
September 13, 20242 yr Nola two quick outs then consecutive walks. 26 pitches after one isn’t great. Meanwhile Quintana 11 pitches 0-1 with RISP
September 13, 20242 yr nola has thrown 43 pitches and 25 are strikes and 18 are balls. Way too high of a ratio right now
September 13, 20242 yr I’ll say it now the dbacks are the most dangerous team in the playoffs if glasnow is out. Dodgers have Yamamoto and that’s pretty much the only starter you’d fear
