i love the fact Rhys did a crying gesture to the Mets players back in March. 

 

Chourio makes a spectacular catch. followed by an awful play in LF. Followed by a routine fly out lol. 

followed by Payamps not being able to routinely just touch first base 

 brewers choking away this game in the 5th with a dumb managerial decision to remove peralta who had found a groove and got 8 in a row, only at 68 pitches to go with their bullpen.

Frankly had a bad feeling regardless of whom they were going to play. Dbacks we don’t play well at chase field and since 2022 they are 6-7 at CBP. Unless we got the brewers who seemingly always choke. Outside of like 3 weeks from end of August to middle of September they haven’t played consistently well since they went to London. Since they went to London they are 50-48.

At least it’s not a true day game. Our W-L record in day games is not good. Start times around 4pm we are 10-7. However lost 4 out of the last 5 times we played around 4pm start times. 

Those times would be great for me but I won’t be able to take advantage as I’ll be on vacation with a large group. Sports fans but not Phillies fans. A group I see once every few years.

If I were an owner, I’d be so steamed right now with this manager. He doesn’t have any reason for why he removed him. It wasn’t the third time through the lineup yet. It was only the second time with the bottom of the order. He had just retired nine in a row. Makes no sense that he pulled him. And it may just cost their season

Need to know what the analytics were cause he wasn’t even through the order a second time to remove him. Add on he had just retired 9 in a row and at 68 pitches. Good.  F those cheaters.  Although truthfully I could see the same thing happening to us - lose a few games where our pitching dominates but our offense lays an egg.

Yeah i feel that’s the way we wind up losing a series. I think our pitching is going to hold up. I don’t trust our offense 

Eflin starting tonight for the O's. He's had a good season. I'd take him in a second over Walker.
