Was Stott’s 27th birthday. Feel like we all owe him apology tonight lol

I can't stand the guy. Finally does something once after taking years off my life the last 3 seasons. Glad they won but at the same time this only covers their flaws and perhaps prevents the necessary changes.

Gonna be a really tough series.  One bad decision could decide things.

Why would you hate Stott of all people???

Well we certainly have a team that only makes good decisions

Who F’n cares they’ll still lose the series.  One game doesn’t fix their issues and now our bullpen is ass too

These games are way too stressful

Sucks most of the time

Honestly hate marsh far more. I think he’s a good person but i feel like he should be way better than he’s become. Fans overrate him. He consistently has had the same problem for 3+ years. I also think Bohm is more hatable of the two (Stott). He pouts and he has a crap attitude when things aren’t going well. frankly it’s why i could see the Phillies keeping Stott and dealing Bohm and using miller at 3b.

I still think Stott can eventually be a Jean segura type hitter.  He is a better fielder than segura. The biggest difference with stott this year is that he’s not working counts. You saw it today when he works counts, he’ll get walks or he’ll get pitches to hit and when he connects, he can give you a triple. When he’s not trying to swing for the fence and he’s working counts, he is good enough. The issue is he’s been swinging trying to hit for the fences. Thats not his game

He had a bad year.  But he’s had some big postseason hits in his short career.

His only bad at bat today was his first. That was just bad. But his second he got up 2-0 in the count cause he didn’t chase. Then he got the single. I really don’t blame him for trying to steal. The Mets are terrible at throwing out runners. Like the worst in major league baseball. So if you’re gonna steal the time to do is with realmuto coming up who is unlikely to get a hit with a runner on base anyways

his 3rd at bat he struck it but he made severino work. 7 pitches. That at bat he didn’t swing at a pitch out of the zone. All of them were in the zone and would’ve been strikes. He just isn’t a good high strike hitter.

His 4th at bat was clutch and what he did last year. The first five pitches of that at bat he didn’t swing. Because he knew he wasn’t gonna get anything good in the zone or close to the zone. He got himself into a 3-2 count and Diaz didn’t want to walk him so he had to throw him a strike. And he nailed it. And frankly, he probably should’ve walked a pitch earlier because that second strike was called a ball all game.

Wow profar just robbed betts of a hr. Then talked crap to dodgers fans (reminiscent to bellmonte in major league 2)

He’s gonna get murdered by a Dodgers fan

Freeman left the game with an ankle/foot injury. Day to day

My blood pressure is finally starting to drop. Shame there is an off day the way they were finally swinging the last 4 innings.

I’m sure espn and the media will hold it against dodgers fans for the next 50 years for throwing a baseball at profar

So apparently the Mets are 13-3 vs. the Phillies when wheeler or nola starts since 2022.

I still think the padres when I’ve watched all these teams has the most complete team left. If the Phillies hit consistently and their bullpen wasn’t been a disaster through the first two games I’d say they are pretty comparable.
