Walker is such a disgrace. Somehow, I missed that lovely signing on my earlier post about DD. That's probably the worst thing he has done as a GM and he has had some bad ones.

Never thought this team was going to be as good as other people did. I just didn’t see what others were seeing. They have major issues with the lineup and bullpen and addressed neither in free agency.

A Walker reversion to the mean was inevitable. Should have bet the Giants tonight.

This team with runners in scoring position. Wow. 2nd and 3rd with no outs then strike out, fly out, ground out. That chump Rojas set the tone with his at-bat. Why wasn't he bunting? Their issues with runners in scoring position has been an issue dating back to 2022. Even when they got to the World Series they had that problem all year. The fact it’s 4 years with the same issue should’ve been addressed by firing long (not that it would really change much) to just send a message. Add on still trying to fit a square peg into a round hole with marsh and Bohm.

Kepler wouldn’t be as big of an issue if they didn’t have marsh as the other starting outfielder. He can be a 7-9 hitter. Marsh being awful kills the outfield. Kepler is likely an average starter

If you watch the Phillies show podcast, it is so sad what the media has become, it is obvious they are so afraid to criticize the team because they may lose access, back in the day no on cared about that

Tanner Banks + Joe Ross = World Series......for another team

Fact Thomson didn’t get tossed after that awful call speaks volumes. This team looks like they did under Girardi since they won the dodgers series in July last year.

Just saw the replay since I turned the game off after the 5th inning. First, how the hell does JT not get thrown out there? That deserved a slamming of the helmet right in front of the umpire. Second, I see Thomson just standing there with a blank look on his face. How did he not get rung up? Dude has no fire. The team has taken on his personality. That was basically a replay of Angel Hernandez calling a 3rd strike on Schwarber and Girardi just standing there with that same, stupid, checked out look. He got fired not too long after that.
