Yesterday at 01:50 PM1 day Nola looking really good. I hope he keeps it up not only because it helps the team, but he seems like a really cool dude. I dont expect that performance every night but if he can just give us the 5-6 inning 3 run starts then the team will be in a good place pitching wise.
Yesterday at 02:01 PM1 day Nola has been really good particularly in August. Curious to see how he performs in September cause the last 3 years it’s been one of his worse months. Over that time he’s had a 5.47, 4.91 and 5.04 era. Has had 7 QS and 4 games of 6+ ERs out of 16 starts. Going to need him to pitch well as it’s the toughest part of their schedule. I’m surprised he’s pitched as well as he has since beginning of July but the same time he’s also only faced one team over .500 and 2 playoffs (twins in but really they are two games under and have a avg offense). Dodgers was the game he gave up his most ERs. So September he is going to be needed and telling for his postseason usage.
