Been earlier than that. He’s been really good since May 1. He was awful in April but since been really good. He’s been all star like since around June 1

September is going to be brutal. That schedule is ridiculous. Reality is they needed to get really hot in August to build a cushion and then to survive their schedule

Im not getting suckered by this team. I don't hear anyone talking about it but it seems like Wheeler and Sanchez are all of a sudden nothing more than 5-6 inning pitchers while walking 4 or 5 guys per start. If this is who they are for the rest of the season, then they are royally effed. I also still dont trust the bullpen.

I kind of alluded to this a couple months back adding him or another FA SP to work with Cotham. They should’ve had him in the system working with him/others available so that when you got to a certain point or you needed him to be a fifth starter, you could’ve tried it. Now that Wheeler is kind of struggling a little bit and Sanchez hasn’t looked as dominant, I think both may wind up being on the 15 day IL at some point in time this season. really they should’ve done this a little bit sooner. Because your September you need both of those guys. So you gotta do it relatively soon if you’re gonna make that jump. Because your September schedule does not allow you to not have either one of those guys out.
