Thursday at 01:50 PM2 days Nola looking really good. I hope he keeps it up not only because it helps the team, but he seems like a really cool dude. I dont expect that performance every night but if he can just give us the 5-6 inning 3 run starts then the team will be in a good place pitching wise.
Thursday at 02:01 PM2 days Nola has been really good particularly in August. Curious to see how he performs in September cause the last 3 years it’s been one of his worse months. Over that time he’s had a 5.47, 4.91 and 5.04 era. Has had 7 QS and 4 games of 6+ ERs out of 16 starts. Going to need him to pitch well as it’s the toughest part of their schedule. I’m surprised he’s pitched as well as he has since beginning of July but the same time he’s also only faced one team over .500 and 2 playoffs (twins in but really they are two games under and have a avg offense). Dodgers was the game he gave up his most ERs. So September he is going to be needed and telling for his postseason usage.

Yesterday at 01:18 AM1 day Just another great decision by Mattingly to bring Kerkering back out for the 8th after an off day Thursday lol.

In Kerkering‘s last 15 appearances, his ERA is close to 9. Expecting him to get 5 outs when he’s only done it once all year and it happened at the beginning of July when he was actually good is ridiculous. That is a dumb managerial decision, especially after an off day.
Yesterday at 01:43 AM1 day Schwarber only has 7 homeruns since June 1. At this pace, he will be lucky to have 45 for the season. Not bad, but not what he was on pace for earlier in the season.

He had that 4 home run game last year in August but for the last month and an half and after that 4 homer game just 7 the rest of the year. also wasn’t nearly the same power hitter in September and even October besides game three.
Yesterday at 01:54 AM1 day You guys know we’re the reason Bohm got his crap together right?! All this bad mouthing got him fired up we all should feel proud
Yesterday at 02:02 AM1 day Progression to mean. He certainly couldn’t get any worse. I’d rather have him get hot late.
