How many Philly athletes have really reached a level of visibility lately that results in a presence in national marketability?  Embiid has been close, but he’s still flying below that radar.  Harper too, but individual baseball starts don’t get far in that respect anymore.  

 

The sheer disarray that my house is in as a result of my wife going on IR with COVID for an Eagles playoff weekend is truly incredible.  You could normally eat off the floors and nothing is out of place…now, it looks like a tornado tore through an episode of hoarders.

After the mayhem and trauma that McNabb and Reid brought to this franchise in the NFCCGs, it’s just amazing to have won two in a row where our starting QB didn’t inexplicably decide to become a remedial passer and turn the ball over repeatedly.

I recently took a look at the 2003 NFCCG and had totally forgotten that McNabb threw 3 picks in less than two quarters of play. Inconceivable. Jalen played today the way McNabb should have played those games: you have the better team, just don’t screw up the game.

That was how my body felt at the end of the game.  I was so emotionally exhausted that I had to go back to the bedroom and sleep for two hours.  I woke up with 2 minutes to play in the AFCCG.
