I think Mahomes has been playing up his limp after the whistle for the cameras.  Easy for me to say that from home while picking Pringle crumbs from the crevasses of my beer gut, but my opinion is what it is.

No. He is hurt. High ankle sprain. No joke. Serious. Looked like ish today frankly

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

My ONLY fear against the Chiefs is the boogeyman, Mahomes.  The Eagles are otherwise the clearly superior team across the board.

Aside from the fact that we are mere spectators and therefore, by definition, helpless in every game...there is just such a feeling of helplessness against Mahomes.  No, he doesn't go 17-0 every year and doesn't win the SB every year.  But it feels as if his success or failure is of his own accord.  When he's on...it's Tiger Woods, Brady, Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky, Federer, etc.  You aren't beating him.  If you catch him on a misfire week, great, you are SB champs.

The biggest key is to not let Mahomes slip away, when our pass rushers close in, they need to finish the sack.

don't want to pee on your parade but isn't maholmes white too? can't pick and choose LOL

I mean he is just as much black as he is white?

The black QB thing should be covered but it’ll more than likely be overdramatized. I wouldn’t have even realized it if no one said anything.

Could this be the year that "people are people" and "players are players"?

The irony is that if you've ever played a sport, been in the military, been in a close nit sales team, church group, etc you would know that none of that stuff matters.  It's usually people on the "outside" that make an issue of it.  But your brother is your brother and your sister is your sister - no matter skin color, race, culture, creed, etc.  At the end of the day, it's that simple.

Well said, but no, not this year.

If we win another ring it makes it easy for kelce and graham to ride off into the sunset

Shhh…doesn’t fit the narrative.

Obviously you’re right but it’s the first time it’s apparently happened. It’s OK for it to get some pub, especially since there’s been some stigma associated with the position.

Just wish we could all get along.

Sometimes this world feels so corrupted.

It can't be this way in other solar systems/galaxies...

This game is playing for next year too.  Last year's results notwithstanding, the SB hangover hits the loser much harder than the winner.  A SB ring also will have some level of impact on the behavior and FA goals of our pending FAs.

I kept saying the only game we’d have to worry about facing an elite quarterback against Gannon’s defense is one from the AFC in the Super Bowl and I’ll worry about it then. Well, we’re here now. But the Eagles offense can hang with anyone so it should be a hell of a game.

What the hell are you guys talking about?

We are going from the #1D to the #1O.

Going to anticipate needing to score 30.

31 or 38

DC news:

Gannon is staying for 2023

Fangio was just hired by the Dolphins to be their DC  (So long and thanks for all the consulting)

I’m not saying that it should or shouldn’t be, just that it will be one of the storylines leading up to the game.

Which diminishes the accomplishments of both players.

It's gonna be talked about because it's notable.

But is it notable?  Both players are much much more tha just the color of their skin.
