There was a couple it was so obvious he went early, really early.  I don't know how he didn't get called on two of them that were so obvious.

I know one of them was when Eagles were backed up close to the goal line after hurts got sacked. He went way early. They didn’t call it. I’m guessing maybe they thought since it would’ve been like a half a yard of a penalty they weren’t gonna call it. In grand scheme of things that one didn’t matter because Eagles punted of the ball on then next play.

For the betting guys here.  Why does it matter what the spread is right now?   From what I read on here, Chiefs were up 1.5 now the Eagles are 2.0.  Why does it matter 2 weeks out? It's going to continue to fluxuate.  Are there people losing sleep over the point spread changing by the minute?  So much I don't understand about the sports betting world.

Not sure where you're getting the impression that anyone's losing sleep over it, but I know there are guys like Franklin who put a futures bet at the beginning of the season for the Eagles to win it all, and now that it's down to the final game, he wants to hedge his bet (a way to bet against your previous bet to guarantee a profit at reduced winnings.) For anyone like him, watching the line closely is important to maximize return.

Eh the bengals player definitely didn’t full on two hand shove the player on the back. He was still pursuing the play and trying to make a play. I think he lost track of where he was on the field. Hufanga wasn’t he just was frustrated and took it out on hurts. Both were penalties but i think hufanga’s was more malicious intent and i don’t think hurts sold it. Mahomes definitely sold it on the ground

Good job! That is very helpful and clearly shows the differences.  Thank you.

I suspect the the Eagles will need to improve their third-down efficiency to be successful against the Chiefs.

I suspect the Cheifs defense will not be near as challenging

Ditto.  For someone who’s so bent about me and has me on ignore all the time.  You sure do like to react to my posts.  Even the post about me saying it shouldn’t be a talking point.  So you agree with me, yet say something like this.  LOL. You’re obsessive.

Ever wonder why you spend most of your posts dodging bullets?

You always seem to go after the poster, not the post...just sayin...;)

He’s a good DC. That bengals defense always is playing better at the end of the year. If not for the late hit penalty there’s a chance that game gets to overtime and they held the chiefs to 20 points. Even 23 is pretty good. And it likely should’ve been worse give the bengals one int gave the chiefs the ball at the bengals 39 and the chiefs got nothing from it.

How is he "definitely better?" What does he do that Gainwell doesnt do?

You guys keep saying this and every week Gainwell looks way more explosive and tough to tackle.

The 3rd down conversion where Gainwell came back to the low pass from Hurts and got the first down?   I dont think Miles makes that catch and run.  Gainwell can run untouched into the endzone, that's no big deal.

He has better acceleration, agility, and patience to set up blocks. People who prefer power backs hate seeing RBs set up blocks and are too quick to view that as weakness rather than a strength, but it's critical for speed backs.

me too, the 9ers defintely made hurts and the eagles O work for every single yard, they are really good, I think the chiefs D isnt nearly as good, they need to commit to the run against the chiefs, beat them down

I've just found out that the new senior director in my team at work is a big Chiefs fan.  This is gonna be awkward....

Wow, national media is making it sound like the Eagles only won cause the 49ers didn't challenge that Smith catch and knocked Purdy out. Yeah, I think a few are right that Hurts isn't right physically because of how off he was, but they are downgrading the win big time.

Eagles 148 yards rushing.  49ers 81.  In the wet conditions the better rushing team won.  Against the vaunted 49ers rush defense, the Eagles were the better offense. So how exactly did the 49ers outplay an offense that scored 24 additional points? Did Purdy put up 24 points on any other playoff team?  Frankly, the only reason the 49ers scored at all was the punt hitting the wire.   That 57 (Greenlaw) and 29 (Hufanga) weren’t ejected for the 49ers is as big a miss by the officials as the Smith "catch”.  Shanahan was outplayed by Smith on that play because he got up giving the signal for a hurry up (double fist pump) and the Eagles executed it perfectly.  F the "National media” and F the cowpads (America’s team only in the mind of the "national media”).

That wasn't an attack at the poster.  JFC.  You and JR, so caught up in other people's discussions.  Grow up.  Good lord.  It wasn't targeting Eagle45.  I know he's not that way.

You are right, you weren’t targeting @eagle45   Your targets were other people, but people nonetheless.  Why target any people at all.  You could have simply addressed the message itself.

did anyone find out why sanders wasnt in there, and gainwell and scott were getting carries instead, gainwell is ballin now

Just looking at the play by play, as I was pretty buzzed in the second half.

The 9ers got the ball back, down 21-7 with 10:47 left in the 3rd quarter.  They threw two passes the rest of the game, 25:47 of game time.

kickoff coverage has been shaky and kc has some speed back there. hopefully elliott just booms every kickoff through the end zone 2 weeks from now.

Totally disagree.

He literally ran right past a block (I think it was Lane) last night and got tackled. He had another where he ran straight into Fred Warner.  I dont remember him breaking a single tackle last night.

Gainwell is absolutely just as quick and agile and has better vision.  Hes just better.

Good grief, he didn't just toss him out of the play, he tossed him out of the zip code. Jason's been eating his wheaties the last couple weeks.

49ers were #1.  Can't get more challenging than that.

Not sure why they didn’t go Wildcat.

It was Kelce, and he waited for the block to set up, but Kelce whiffed. But yes, he didn't play as well as Gainwell did yesterday. I'm not going to judge an entire body of work on one or two games though. That's falling prey to recency bias. Far better to use the larger sample size of the entire season, and when doing so, there's no question Miles is clearly better.
