Reading the 49ers sub and they are acting like if Purdy doesn't get injured they win the game easily. Pure delusion.  Purdy wasn't doing anything against that defense yesterday.

Yeah and the Eagles could have done a lot more on offense. They took their foot off the gas and basically just ran the clock in the 2nd half.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I originally thought it was a collar the way he was reacting.  He's a stud.  But great LB aren't the difference makers they used to be.

By necessity they need to be a jack-of-all-trades in an effort not to be exploited - unless they have a real knack for creating turnovers, their performance is derivative of the talent in front of them.

took their foot off the gas, I dont know, when you can start running the ball time and time again starting early in the 4th quarter, thats imposing your will and breaking their spirits, I love it, makes for a boring game, but a W also

How do you know.  They were moving the ball the first drive, we will never know.

They got 2 of their QBs injured because they couldn't stop the pass rush. Eagles we're going to be in the backfield all day and Purdy doesn't do well under pressure.

Also we've seen teams score early on this defense and then do nothing for the rest of the game. That wasn't a given to happen but we've seen it play out that way this season so it's a possibility.

Or they could have just not left our best lineman or maybe best overall defender virtually unblocked. That's on whoever calls plays for SF, I guess Kyle Shanahan.

Wow, what a contributor!!! How does the blog survive without such insightful posts?

Lets not forget the 9ers OL also got Jimmy G injured too. At least Trey Lance's injury was on a designed run, but he was also taking a ton of hits prior to his injury.

Their QBs got banged up cause shanahan tried to be cute and block reddick with his backup tight end and tight end in general. I’d have to go back and watch reddick’s time with the cards to see if shanahan used that against him then but it is pretty bad game planning with how on fire reddick has been lately.

They might have had the request in for awhile now and were told by the Bengals they didn’t want him interviewing until after the AFCCG.

Charlie Weis whining that the Niners got the short end of the stick from the officials.  Love it.  Every one of those calls were shown on replay to be valid, but complain away.

Both were stupid penalties.

I thought Ossai might have been trying to direct Mahommes out of the way because it look liked otherwise, Ossai was going to run into Mahommes trying to keep from a hard collision between Ossai and Hilton.  Could be wrong but not the same as Hufanga’s blatant hit out of bounds.

The bengals really have more reasons to complain about the officiating then niners and not cause of the last penalty that was accurate even though it ruined a potential classic overtime

I wonder if Joe Decamara will address the idea that he said something like, "I can't myself rooting against Andy Reid", a few weeks ago.

I appreciate what Andy did here. Thank him for the good years here. However F him the next 2 weeks and if he beats us in the SB. my allegiance is to the eagles not former birds or former coaches.

He'll have two weeks to rest up, but some of his weapons got banged up.

Seriously insightful commentary...Thanks!

...kinda what you usually say to others...just sayin...

The flags called against SF were blatant. I mean ffs, watch the game.

You going?

I wish. Tickets out here $6000. Probably better i don’t cause eagles, Phillies and sixers usually lose when i go watch them in Az. Just broke the double digit losing streak this year when i saw them beat the cardinals on that missed FG. I’m gonna go to the nfl experience though.

We know who to blame now.

Just scrolling through Twitter I guess the two things that Niners fans were upset about is Lane Johnson getting off the snap before the ball get snap. Which some video he did but it is what it is. I think it happens more than we realize.

The second one is the Smith catch. That wasnt a catch but the Official’s angle makes it harder for him to see. If you see Smith doing what he’s doing on the field and they’re hurrying up then you gotta think that’s potentially not a catch. It is a Pretty pivotal point early in the game. Without that catch the ball near midfield with a chance to take all the momentum. You have to throw a challenge like or at least call time out to try to look at it cause it felt like it could been a huge momentum play. I get not wanting to burn a challenge that early but it’s a play that was major swing of ball around midfield tied at 0 and likely down 7

That video with Lane is in so slow motion.  In human eye/full speed that would have been invisible to the line judge.  Happens all the time.  Bet I could find the same on Trent Williams and Sweat.

True but I'm also referring to his lack of interviews dating back to last year too.
