I’m of a similar mind. They have a really strong D, and Russ isn’t some deadbeat QB. He was in a system that had no idea what to do with him, Payton is the guy you want to turn him around. Oline help and another WR and they’ll have something going

With all the instability they have had recently, and potentially drafting a new QB at #2, I think he gets two year guaranteed.  

Be interesting to see who he gets to be his offensive coordinator, as they will get to be heavily involved with the selection and grooming of the new QB.

As I posted earlier, everything I heard locally of the Russ and Seahawks split, and Russ being a do it his way guy, not sure if Payton is the best coach for him.  I see them butting heads early and often.

Probably the best move, and he has had some success, and they do have some pieces on offense.  

Hopefully they make the correct first decision, and take Stroud.

Sounds like one side is getting their info from agents/team, the other from the candidates.

Yeah, I couldn't remember if he interviewed there or not. It's never too late I guess.

DeMeco is going to be a great head coach.  One of my favorite "rental Eagles" in meaning we got him in his twilight.  Kind of like Darren Howard.  2 guys I loved when they played for other teams and we we had them in their prime.  Have said it before that I would have loved him here but I think the Eagles made out OK with their choice!

The Texans are most likely getting new uniforms for 2024 and some teases have gone out to possibly go back to the Oilers colors.....man THAT would be awesome.

 

Back to Super Bowl jerseys, do I go with Kelce knowing there's a good chance it's more of a legacy pick, or go with Johnson which will be a slightly less legacy pick but I might get 2 or 3 years of him still playing?

I bought a knockoff Foles Super Bowl LII jersey for $60 after the 2017.  I'm thinking if AJ Brown has a big game I'll just have the lettering changed on my Wentz jersey for an update.

I got a real Foles Jersey with the superbowl patch right after we won.  If we win again I'll do the same and buy a Hurts jersey ( I did buy a Hurts jersey-T saturday, but am usually afraid to buy a QB jersey lol).
