I watched the replay again in slow motion. You guys are right because I can see it kind of twist back.  Plus he hit his forearm on Reddick's helmet too.    I've seen Defenders do that a millions times it seems.    If he losses a year, that's tough for his career because he's just starting out.  If he needs surgery, he should get it ASAP.   

Baseball players do it without anything interrupting the throw.

Comparing this years SB team to 2017...Other than the obvious differences of this team is almost 100% healthy- including we have our starting QB for the gameI think this team top to bottom is far better than that team that won it in 2017/18. Far Better. Like this team would beat that Eagles team and the Pats of that year. Below I Bold where I believe we are better in each group.  (Keep in mind I think Goedert is the best TE out of all but the group as a whole is not as good- looking at the group overall)

 

Debateable points- Goedert > Ertz (Ertz was so key on the game winning drive)

Foles/ Hurts?

I'd flip LB's and S to 2017

My initial concerns with this upcoming game: the intellectual mismatch between Reid and Gannon. Granted, Gannon’s scheme has held up ok these last couple of weeks but Reid can scheme up a Mona Lisa given a 2-week window and Gannon isn’t exactly Einstein with his simple schemes.

Looking back at the KC game last year, yes the Chiefs were the more talented team but there was a mismatch in scheme with Reid running circles around Gannon. And even now, I still do not trust Gannon (it’s not entirely surprising that, despite all of the hype, he hasn’t gotten a head coaching job while DeMeco has) — perhaps folks around the league also realize that he had royally sucked against good offenses/quarterbacks.

Yes the Chiefs have the Freak Show but Reid v Gannon may be the biggest mismatch of this game.

I think Safety can be debated, But CJGJ has 6 Ints with missing time and Jenkins our best safety in 2017 had 2.....

I will take this LB core... Edwards has played  very well. 

Edwards ranked 7th in the NFL with 159 total tackles in 2022. His 159 tackles are the 2nd-most in franchise history
