Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I have an embarrassingly large DVD collection and I have 3 cheap blu ray players, 1 of them in my outside setup,  just for this reason.

I have about 1,000 Eagles games on DVD...and one very special one on Blu Ray. There is no way I’m abandoning that technology.

I’m hopelessly holding onto all my DVDs for nostalgia purposes I guess. And also hoping they become unique one day and my unopened 1st edition blu ray of Snow White will be worth…..

That's his average speed.  Couldn't find any top speeds from this year but he did hit 21.52 while in Tenn.  He is not a burner but he is not slow.

21.5 is good.

But he keeps getting caught from behind, and has looked even slower as the season has progressed. Might be playing with an injury.

Yeah, I think he has been dealing with something the 2nd half of this year.  Hopefully, 2 weeks of rest will get him charged up for the Superbowl

Pretty cool send-off Vid. Players seem humbled, almost embarrassed by all the attention. Nice job with the Sweats, Team.

Howie deserves his spot on the Dais, and his sweats. He is part of the Team, a HUGE part. Let's not lose sight of that.

Don't need to be wearing your Red tie for every event...Airplane ride coming right up..relax for Five Hours and 15 minutes...

Spadaro's a pretty good cheerleader. He does love his Birds (and his paycheck,)  but that's okay. Doing his Job.

Nice turnout, too. Our Fans Represent.

Let's find ways to tear this Vid down....I'm sure some can...or embrace and enjoy. All part of the Dubya comin our way.

Couldn't care less how slow Brown is if he keeps putting up 1500/11

Dave tried too hard. Was annoying to listen to him yelling the entire time.

Speed has always been overrated, especially at the WR position. Even more so in recent years thanks to the Chiefs.

Alshon was slow but he could stretch the field.

I’m a huge audiophile and home theater geek. I’ve got one blu ray for the theater room, which I have literally used once.  The audiophile community sticks with blu ray because it still has uncompressed sound, but streaming is getting really close.  I’ve thrown out all my dvds and blu rays besides a couple favorite action movies.

Not really. At least not if you're referring to video streaming services. Maybe audio ones like Tidal are making up ground but the bitrates from Disney+, Apple, vudu, MA, etc are still pretty damn weak, especially if we're just talking about the audio track. Yes, you can still get Atmos and such, but it's more like Atmos Lite because it's using an inferior codec compared to Atmos you get from the Dolby TrueHD tracks on disc.

I remember about fifteen years ago, there was a radar tracker device for cars set up on my residential street. Just for ish and giggles, I decided to see how fast I could run. I think I dragged my then forty five-ish year old ass at about fourteen MPH. So yeah, that’s pretty slow for an actual athlete.

Incidentally I was mystified and saddened that none of the neighborhood kids sought to do the same thing. I know for damn sure that if we were kids and we had the chance to test ourselves in that manner, there would have been kids from all over the neighborhood lining up for their turn at the game.

Liking Hurts in the kelly green.  He'll be wearing that quite a bit starting next year.

AVERAGE SPEED.

When they catch the ball on a comeback or a screen their speed starts at zero.

The comparison to you and AJ at MAX SPEED (what you tested) is 14 vs 21.52

Your 40 time was probably 7.2  Rich Eisen runs 5.95-6.1 in his suit. If you could achieve instantaneous 14mph then your 40 time would be 5.85

Remembering...

In my neighborhood back then , there'd have been 50 kids lined to show their stuff...treated as all fun a a big challenge...

That would have become an every afternoon event with score keeping, Parents cheering, probably food and soft drinks after, kids competing. Always all about the kids.

Our thing here was bicycle races around the block, 6 at a time, 2 laps. Same scenario but a real Horse Race. Every summer night.

Like NASCAR for the youngsters. Miss those days, and nights. Kids competed and bonded, Parents made it friendly competition.

Parents fighting at Tee Ball and Soccer games now is so Alien...
