21.5 is good.

But he keeps getting caught from behind, and has looked even slower as the season has progressed. Might be playing with an injury.

He also is getting overthrown by Hurts on deep balls

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

If Gannon gets a HC gig I would be interested in Evero as a possible replacement  How wedded to the 3-4 scheme is he?

I'm feeling pretty good about next week.  Of course I have the basic concerns about Mahomes/TKelce and the possibility that Hurts could get caught up in the moment (I do think he will be fine).

There are a couple of specific concerns.  The main one is that Andy may put a lot of pressure right up the gut over JKelce with Jones bull rushing.  Kelce has had some trouble with that during his career and if Jones could do damage there it would both collapse the pocket for Hurts and also stop Kelce from getting out.

Not for the feint of hearts.

Not really. At least not if you're referring to video streaming services. Maybe audio ones like Tidal are making up ground but the bitrates from Disney+, Apple, vudu, MA, etc are still pretty damn weak, especially if we're just talking about the audio track. Yes, you can still get Atmos and such, but it's more like Atmos Lite because it's using an inferior codec compared to Atmos you get from the Dolby TrueHD tracks on disc.

Ah, I see someone else is into this.  I think that gap will be closed pretty quickly.  That’s all true though.   So what setup are you rocking?

When we win the SB, I hope we host SF in the first game of the season. Give them those back to back losses.

The amount of excuses and complaining from the 49ers is nausetating.  My goodness.  Take the loss and move on.

Was just thinking that.  I hope the Eagles have to go to SF, even though Philly most definitely would be hosting, and just absolutely smoke the 49ers.  Shut up already.

We're hosting the 49ers next year. Will have to travel to LA, NYJ, New England, Seattle, Tampa, etc.

Limiting Jason's second and third level efforts is something I'm sure Andy will attempt. He knows how effective Kelce is at that. Not sure Stout will allow it though, with scheme. Stout vs Spags, in the trenches, Stout gonna Win. Hard to stop the Pin and Pull, or the trap, behind the line, with Kelce already moving...the Chiefs will need penetration at the snap to disrupt the flow...they may get a couple, but we're too good at it. Pretty sure Jones is high on Gannon's radar. Gonna  be a fun chess match.

But, AJ is slow

He is slow.  That's a testament to how often he ends up in space, with the ball, running full speed.  So it's an impressive stat.  But he's not fast.

Hope they can do LA and seattle back to back and just stay out west

SF is my new least favorite team.

There are easy counters to that since we can pull any of the front 5, though i dont want to ask Lane to do that right now. also vulnerable to running at the edges

if i am KC i would put Jones on Lane and test him, while trying to flush hurts left

Would love that. Hopefully we can finally win a game in Seattle.

AJ Brown has average WR speed, but really good speed for a guy who is 6-1, 230 or so. His issue is that he doesn’t have long speed (or at least hasn’t this year) because he doesn’t hold his top speed as long.

I expect Jones is going to get double teamed nearly every down and will be so exhausted and beat up by the end of the first half that he will be next to a non-factor for the remainder of the game. And I don’t mean that to be cocky, or as a slight against him, because he’s obviously among the very best at what he does. It’s just that he’s going to have to beat two pro bowl quality players on basically every down.

You know, a lot has been made of Stoutland’s ability to develop individual talent — which is obviously tremendous — but the most impressive thing for me might be how well he gets his lineman to play together. They hand off stunts, double team, combo block, double team and release, etc better than any line I ever remember watching.

I imagine to be an opponent of this OL is a bit like the Iraq army felt going up against the US military (obviously without the whole fear of instant death from no where). It’s not just that they’re just better than you in any head to head confrontation, they’re also just leaps and bounds better coordinated.

Because if their crying and their behavior in the game last week?

I’d still have Dallas, NYG, Washington, Pissburgh, Baltimore and New Orleans ahead of them.

And because I can't tolerate the city.

New Orleans and Seattle consistently beat us on the football field, so they deserve consideration.  But with Payton out and their top 10 pick, I can't muster up a ton of hate.

I really don't care about Dallas, NYG, or Washington one way or the other except for 2x per year.

Go take your Metamucil and obsess with someone else, stalker.

I run a custom algorithm that alerts me to bullsh!t on the Blog. Beats Ignore, hands down. Your posts keep popping up.

Technology? It's a beautiful thing. Disrespectful Keywords entered, you use em all, against almost everyone.

Along with the constant googly eyes thing you always use, your content is mostly disposable, but not without recognition, first.

Working towards another suspension during Super Bowl week? Have at it.

Yes, I'd try that as well but I don't think that will work.

Siri: Why do the 49ers keep losing big games?
