I was curious though... one of the reasons to do this is to have it indexed by the search engines, so that we'll have more hits when people search for us. So I went to Google and searched for that thread, to see if it had been indexed. Of course, it has. But I noticed something interesting that I hadn't anticipated...

It looks like Google is now identifying us as being the original EMB, even though technically, we aren't. If you notice on the image below, it says that Google first indexed 'eaglesmessageboard.com' more than 10 years ago. Well, we're only (almost) 3 years old. 

So I'm assuming that since Google indexed the original LII GDT back then, it's identifying us as the original board, which dated back more than 10 years. 

Of course, that doesn't really mean anything, other than they think we're the original EMB, which we are, 'in heart' if not technically.

When the old EMB went to an awful format, the Blog moved for a couple weeks to a different site until Dave got his crap together and changed back.  Probably about a decade or so ago.  Can’t for the life of me remember where that site was located and if that might have an impact on Google’s indexing.
