Tend to believe Minnesota and Dc area is not cheering for us

So who wins the Electoral College with that distribution? We get California and Florida but they get Texas and New York. At first glance, I'm not too optimistic.

Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

334 to 204 Birds win. Lots of those red states are empty.

God i hope we win so eagles Twitter goes off on this schmuck. I’m almost positive he was a Bucs fan in the early 2000s when we were playing the bucs

Sounds like he’s saying "How bout them cheese”

When the old EMB went to an awful format, the Blog moved for a couple weeks to a different site until Dave got his crap together and changed back.  Probably about a decade or so ago.  Can’t for the life of me remember where that site was located and if that might have an impact on Google’s indexing.

Are you thinking of Phil’s board? That was the April Fools debacle of 2011.

I have a hard time seeing us winning this game. It just feels like the time Mahomes and Reid get their second. I can't see them losing in the Super Bowl again.

I have a hard time seeing it as well. If you listen to some of the Homers in here we might as well not even waste time playing the game. I said it before and I'll say it now. Hurts from the first part of the season we win. Hurts from lately we lose. Run around Hurts won't win this one unless accurate Hurts shows up too.

One of the greatest commercials of all time.

Back then, Snickers was on point.   The concussed QB one is also great.

You just have that effect on people

For the Chiefs to win, IMO, Mahomes needs to be superman.  He happens to be the one player in the NFL who is the biggest threat to consistently be superman.  So that's not good for us.  But it's still a lot to go into a game knowing you need that from one guy to win.  The Eagles just have an entire lineup of guys that just need to do their thing.

I agree.  The Eagles are the deeper team.

You can easily feel how much more comfortable our fans are this time around. Having the "never won a Super Bowl" monkey off of our back has been big.  It's more enjoyable this time.  It's not cocky.  It's a more mature take on the game.  Go Birds!

Yup

getting the first one changed everything

Exactly right. When you've had the best team all year, the fan base should be able to go in to the game with confidence in winning it.

Not petrified of everything that could go wrong.

100%. If we were sitting on 0 Lombardis we would be losing our minds right about now. Having that monkey off our back is indescribable relief.

I think you are right, but more splash plays come from Edge players than from OTs … unless you are O-line connoisseurs like Philadelphia fans are.  However, even with that bias, the reaction of Eagles fans to Hassan Reddick is illustrative.

Regarding the Orlovsky numbers I suspect that 7 of the 10 OL are OTs rather than IOL.  So the number is probably pretty good for OTs, but not so good for IOL.

You want a good edge player ? Felix Anudike Uzomah , my favorite in the draft
