We actually started, there were lots of them in the yard, catching them and taking them to a nearby creek. Maybe the second time, my then 8 year old opened the bag to let them out and there was a giant Vietnamese centipede, flaming red, right next to his hand. I cautiously moved him away, said to myself this is stupid and moved on to the clubs. I took it as a sign to be a bit more practical with the problem.

Broncos are in fine shape, cap wise, even with Russ' contract. Plus, there are contracts they can move on from this year (Darby, Glasgow, etc.) and next year (Gregory, Sutton, etc.) that will free up even more space. And they will have their 1st round pick back in 2024. 

Payton's a great head coach. It's a risk worth taking. No one else out there in the coaching hiring cycle has his resume. And Brees is on the record of crediting Payton with helping him become the QB he did. Brees was going nowhere with the Chargers and it wasn't until he joined Payton in New Orleans that his career took off. And let's not forget that the Saints were a doormat franchise until Payton got there. 

Wilson's problems were mental mistakes, along with a torn lat in his throwing shoulder and a piss poor OL. Still, he had moments where he showed his physical skills are there.

All the Broncos did was, in reality, trade Bradley Chubb, a player who never lived up to being the 5th overall pick in 2018 (which got them the 30th pick which was originally belonged to SF) for Payton, as well as, swapping a 2nd for a 3rd in 2024. 

Draft picks are important, but lets be real, many of them bust...they're crapshoots. How has keeping and making all those picks over the last 6 years helped the Broncos?
