My guess is you were too young when Seinfeld was actually on- watching it now- without the context of the 90's changes your perspective on things.  Then again Golden Girls was never a GREAT show, but I understood why some found it funny.

The Simpsons, South Park, Psych, Monk, Always Sunny, The Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm, That 70's Show, Shameless, ****t's Creek, Kevin can F Himself, Arrested Development, The Big Bang Theory, Parks and Rec.  I could go on and on.  Seinfeld is the most over rated show in TV history.

6.  Night Court

7.  M*A*S*H

8.  Mary Tyler Moore Show

9.  Fawlty Towers

10.  Police Squad!

 

I'm sure there's a few more that are right there, but those are likely the top 10 for me.

Simpsons, Southpark, Curb, good shows, still pale in comparison to Seinfeld. 

That 70's was good for the first 2 years or so, The Office was GREAT at times- some of the funniest clips - The Fire Drill, or CPR training- great stuff.  but the Office lost it's mojo when Carrell left

Arrested was good at times.

Never watched BBT or Parks,  or Shameless

Didn't like Monk, Allways Sunny

Current state of this thread regarding "comedy” tv.   Sunday can’t come any sooner.

If you are judging a show entirely based on the cast, then I guess your criteria makes sense.

Changing the subject will let your mind relax about the game, and it won't seem like time is dragging as much.
