Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I found it quite odd that Garrett Wilson thanking God at the beginning of his speech elicited so much applause.  It was like they were expecting God to come out and take a bow.

At this point, I'm all for it. I know that there are a lot of people who aren't religious and don't believe in God,  and I also know that no religion is perfect.  However, after seeing the pure joy from so many elites after Sam Smith's Grammy performance, I'm happy to see some on the mainstage give thanks to God.  Chris Pratt gets vilified for being an open Christian in Hollywood.  Tim Tebow was hated because of it.  Being anti-Christian is more popular than ever as is the rise in open Satanic ritualstic behavior.  I know it's been going on for ages but it's never been backed like it is now.  Madonna can openly mock Christianity late in to her disgusting 60s and be cheered for it but if you complain about Smith's perforance being too Satanic, then you're laughed and told to calm down.  It's one thing to argue that Satanic worship is a form of religion and shoiuld be treated equally, but it's another to openly promote it while putting down Christianity.

I'm far from a Bible thumper and I know that being Catholic is frowned upon in 2023, however, I'm still proud to be Christian and a follower of Jesus Christ.  We need more people like Chris Pratt and Ben Watson to be celebrated rather than ridiculed.  Teach young people that it's OK to believe in God.

Flame away, I don't care.

Is anyone actually getting work done today?

For all of you people who rooted for the Chiefs in the SB because of Andy Reid a few years ago or can't muster up any hate for the Chiefs.....Just remember this, the KC Chiefs were originally the Dallas Texans.

SO F Dallas and F the Chiefs.....and F Andy Reid.

Apparently they were also based in Hershey, PA for a short time, too. Wild, I never knew that. I mostly grew up in Hershey.

I don't know if Barber is deserving or not. Maybe he was. But in my mind Eric Allen certainly wasn't a HOF player. He was good. Maybe very good at times. But never great.

Eric Allen was a far better CB than Barber.

First off, I'd like to thank God.

The NFL honors were nigh on unwatchable. Kyle Brandt's seg was the only interesting part of it; the rest was meh on the whole.  Kelly Clarkson's taking voice

If there are people still in Gitmo, just put her there and they'll give up any info you want to just to make it stop

If I were an Eagles coach or player, I'd be thinking. They just do not respect us; let's make them respect us on Sunday.

GITMO had a laundromat with some big ass dryers.  Guys would get drunk and go for a ride in one for a few spins.  Other than that, GITMO sucked.

And thus a great place for Kelly Clarkson to go to

Pretty weak HOF class. Congrats to Dan Klecko’s dad I guess.

You mean Joe Klecko?   I always thought of Dan Klecko as being Joe's son... but we can flip it the other way, if you'd like.   Klecko is deserving.  Also... he's a local guy.  Born in Chester, PA.  Temple University product.  People forget about Klecko, but he led the league in sacks one year with 20.5.  Late in his career he was moved to NT, and the stats just vanished.  Klecko barely missed out on being named Defensive Player of the Year that season with the 20.5 sacks...  He was edged out by Lawrence Taylor.   Taylor had only 9.5 sacks that year.  But the Jets split their vote... Gasteneau finished 3rd, and had 20 sacks.  Imagine having two pass rushers get 20+ sacks in a season.  Unbelievable.

Not currently living here but am working here. The commute is a b*tch, though, and I will need to figure out a relocation plan. Living in the city has its benefits and drawbacks. I'm not sure where I ultimately want to settle, but I do like hanging out in the city. So, even if I'm not in the city, I do want to be near it.

Yessir!

I turned on the NFL Honers, only to hear George Kittle try to sing- (he wasn't even on the right key- much like Hurts with Fly Eagle Fly)

And I was out.

Why do they think they have to do that type of crap? Why all the celebrities? Why not just keep it about football? (rhetorical questions- I know they are trying to attract non-football fan viewers - meanwhile turning off the real football fans- Chuck Bednarik is turning over in his grave).

That's because @hputenis rarely let's you out of your cage and when he does take you on a walk he gets some pretty weird looks with you in that gimp suit.
