Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Hypothetical here:

Honestly at this point with all the negative opinions about how the Eagles didn't play anyone/got lucky-  If Mahomes somehow gets hurt, and the Eagles Lines dominate and we blow out KC by 38 - 7  There will still be haters saying we got lucky -didn't play anyone etc.... Book it.

Me I'm hoping for a nice comfortable Win where Hurts throws for 2 TD's runs for 1TD and 1TD's by a RB &  3 FGS's and the Defense has 6 sacks- 2 Int's and a fumble recovery. And everyone on KC stays healthy all game just to shut everyone up.  - But it likely wont happen that way. I am concerned about Mahomes to Kelce and KC's screen game- AR's trickery

@LeanMeanGM

Birds 26

KC 24 -

Bonus KC misses 4th qtr FG that would have won the game.

MVP Devonta Smith = 11 - 145+ yards 1 TD

Who cares.  Let em hate.

I still find it mind boggling that the 9ers players are still talking 2 weeks later.  Why is it so hard to admit that you got out-coached, out-played, and out-schemed.

The 40whiners believe they could have won with Turdy at qb.

Why is it so hard for us Eagles fans to admit that the Niners were obviously the better team and deserved to win but were cheated out of their victory because of a bad call in the first quarter, a series of bad calls later on, and some fluky injuries? They deserved to win.

Yes, of course, nothing was their fault.  It was all just bad calls.  The GOAT Brock Purdy was about to expose our secondary.  Right.

Also, I know we have other needs in the draft, but I really want Jalen Carter.  According to the value chart we could package our picks and jump up to as high as #4 and I think there's a chance he's available there.

Didn't watch the Grammys but from your descriptions of Sam Smiths "satanic" performance sounds like the illuminati sunk their claws in.

There have been tales over the years of a shadow group in the music industry that promise these " stars" inclusion into their special club and to do so they must go through an initiation. (On stage satanic or sex stuff)

Miley Cyrus grinding with Allen Thicke, Katy Perry with her satanic performance, even Kesha's last music video before she dropped her label and went more independent, where In the lyrics she even mentions getting free of the monsters that control her, that video is all satanic imagery.

Sure people will say it's a crazy conspiracy theory but people say the same about the MK ultra program and the Greenbaum speech.

Either way anytime I see a music artist on  stage do something satanic in nature gives me pause and makes me wonder whose got their claws in them.

As for all the Christian stuff, in your face evangelicals who speak of Jesus worship  and then clutch  their crosses at the site of a homeless person or a person from the LGBTQ are more annoying than showy Hollywood fake satanists .

Anyone who blocks Hassan Reddick with a back up TE in that game on a slow developing play- doesn't deserve to win, that was a very bad game plan.

Dont know who jalen Carter is I'm not in draft mode yet but I wouldn't be s fan ifctradung up, eagles need to build through the draft with lots of guys leaving via FA or retirement or what not, hurts impending contract extension will also make it tighter to get Hugh priced free agents or sign ones own players to extensions so the roster will need be bolstered through the draft.

I'd rather they trade out of one of their firsts and pick up a couple more picks.

Secrets of the Push Jalen Hurts Club

Here’s what we do know: the Eagles began pushing Hurts (and Gardner Minshew) from behind on quarterback sneaks with more intentionality and force than the modern NFL has ever seen midway through the season. As I wrote for The New York Times in January, the Eagles became the most prolific sneaking team in modern NFL history, as well as one of the most productive. The Eagles converted 29 first downs or touchdowns on 33 sneaks in the regular season, both figures the highest on record.

The Eagles’ success on sneaks emboldened Nick Sirianni to lead the NFL in Aggressiveness Index at 1.57. That means that the Eagles were 57% more likely to go for it on fourth downs than other teams facing similar situations (based on the norms established over the last five years, when teams have grown much more aggressive in general).

Other teams are emulating the Eagles success; if the "push sneak” remains legal -- the competition committee is likely to take a long offseason look at a play which at least appears hazardous to the quarterback’s health -- it will probably revolutionize fourth-down and short-yardage tactics.

Stoutland was reluctant to attribute too much of the Eagles’ success to the fact that two or three teammates are using Hurts like a battering ram. "It helps,” he said. "But we did it for years without that. And we had a lot of success.”

I think if we beat the Chiefs and use the sneak at least once or twice, the chances of this being a point of contention among the competition committee is going to be pretty high. But if we lose and never need to use it, then I'd be surprised if it's given much consideration.

I don't see it with Carter at all.  Not impressed with Bresee, either.  Myles Murphy would be the choice if I were drafting DL who could be available around pick #10..

Funny thing is- all across the NFL in games - WR's are always wide open, and yet if the QB is on the ground and cant throw the ball to them????

I think it's funny they think that their QB's would have had time to implement their plan when in the game 19 pass plays the Eagles had pressure on 18 of them, 9 Qb hits and 3 sacks....

Oh we are, but not for the reasons you might be thinking

I wonder if Nick and the coaches have been talking about all these cheap shot comments from the 49ers and reminding the players of these.  Can only help as motivation to prove them wrong eventhough they aren't the opponent.

Nope.  I think if you spend time listening to the crying of those you've just tossed over the edge, you get distracted from those right in front of you.

I'm genuinely confused by your comment, not sure what those other reasons would be.

Maybe you are making a joke and I'm too tired and or dense to get it 🤷‍♂️
