Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Having said that I apologized to the posters I made mamma jokes to through PMs including Downunder.

Just like you have me on ignore, I have you blocked from PM'ing me, so I didn't get your apology, but its worthless as you did it again this week.

Underrated prospect in this years draft -  Really like this kid with good size also.. Not a ton of wear and tear either just didn't play much due to that dude who played in front of him

He is a better choice than Zach Charbonnet IMO.  Similar style. Better topend/breakaway speed and less wear on the tires.

Here's a topic curveball....any of you guys on here write in a journal?

Just looking at ways to better myself and one thing that constantly comes up is journaling.  No idea how to even start.

Ive retired the momma jokes from the EMB,

How do you feel about Dad jokes?

Seems people in general don't get as offended when one jokingly calls their Dad fat or a floozy (sp)or whatever wonder why that is?🤔

It wasn’t the "your mom” joke, it was the meltdown afterward. And then you did after being told to knock it off.

Back to football for a second-watching some of the media picks today everyone is saying the Chiefs will just get the ball out fast. OK....because no other team thought that would be a good idea against that pass rush? The Eagles corners will have something to say about that because it's not like they don't know that is coming. Mahomes is good, but he's not the GOAT yet. The guy is one win above being called the Bengal's b...ch. Andy is a great coach, but the guy only has one ring after getting close how many times? He has consistently been out coached in big games.

That was the Giants’ approach in Week 18.  It avoided sacks, but increased INT opportunities.  Unfortunately, the LBs and DBs couldn’t hold onto the ball when an INT opportunity presented itself.

For me journaling In an actual journal with pen and paper was/is more therapeutic for me than typing it out in a computer.

So I'd recommend getting and actual physical journal.

Then start with the date and write whatever comes to mind.

I usually write about the previous day in the following morning as my brain has had a chance to process stuff over night

When I first started it was just like a recollection of the day, my mom will write like what she had for lunch and stuff but I stopped doing that and instead would either write down goals, sometimes I would just use it as a collection of quotes I read that day, or thoughts I had on a certain subject, like politics or religion etc...

I don't think how ever you choose to start can be a wrong way just as long as one starts.

Sometimes I would cut out newspaper articles of importance, my wife would keep like receipts of important events and stuff like that in her journal.

Now a days I find most of what I write is about my kids, and funny things they said ir did.

Alot of times I'll even write about something that happened a while ago that I didn't write about as I have long stretches where I haven't written so it's more of a recap.

I know a of people that keep their journal next to their scriptures and joy down their thoughts and impressions after reading those.

Good luck hope it's a good outlet for you.

Um no. We’re not "mod blaming” - we just want transparency on this. A longtime member being banned without explanation is not right. None of us want to get banned so we need to know what he was booted for.

Already given a second chance. Multiple warnings official and unofficial. A decent number of reports are because of him.

Enough is enough.

You all are in charge, and I can't imagine what you have to deal with and the frustrations that come with it. I'll only add that this forum is a home for people like him. Yeah, he was a curmudgeon, and his choice to ignore warnings is on him, but he was a worthy contributor, not just a troll coming on here to cause problems. For those of us who have been here for multiple decades, it's no small thing to have taken away, especially two days before the Super Bowl.

Maybe that already afforded him some extra consideration before his ban, but going back to the first forum in the late 90s, I've never asked for a mod to reconsider their decision and hope he could be brought back at some point.

He was not a nominee, he was the reason.

It isn’t binary.

Is Mahomes better than Brady during the undefeated Super Bowl? No

Do the Chiefs have better weapons than the Pats? Not even close

Better coaching in big games? No, The Pats usually won.

Is this Eagles offense better than that Giants team? Absolutely

Is this Eagles defense better than the Giants team that beat them? Absolutely

All this Mahomes is going to beat them on his own drives me nuts.

The Giants gameplan was so horrific that I even called it the "Make sure the Eagles don't get the sack record and who cares how bad we lose" plan.

It was not a valid football strategy. They had 3 points through 3 quarters. If the other team knows they only have to defend the 10 yards after the line of scrimmage and those players are as good as the Eagles then you are in for a long day. Its like making the whole game as difficult as the red zone.

Real Philadelphians will get this:

"Andy, you owe us one!"
