Super Bowl menus seem to be a popular topic right now, food and drink are key for your guests, your family, yourself.

So here's mine...Older Brother coming in from Virginia, gotta represent.

Feta Cheese on Ritz crackers with horseradish and sweet relish topping, fresh cut fruit salad.

Pork shoulder, marinating 3 days in a homemade Spice and Brown Sugar bath then 6 hr cook in the Crockpot with Vidalia Onions and Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce (doctored, of course), Pulled and pushed and served over toasted Kaisers with melted swiss Cheese. Red Skinned (racist?)... potato salad with diced Red Onion and Celery seed, salt and pepper and a touch of yellow bell pepper from the summer garden, served warm.

Almost forgot the homemade Peach with Cherries Pie, Lattice top, Cinnamon Sugar topping baked on.

Ice Cold Hacker Pshorr with sips of Knob Creek as we watch our second Lombardi come home...

Yeah, I know the American Flag should be highest but it'll do for the moment. No disrespect intended.

It's ok. I don't mod, not fully because I don't want to but because of the situation here (that I've spoken of previously). But at the same time, I do expect to need to be involved on some level. I can't take any focus away from home, but I won't 100% ignore the EMB either. I can't.

I really (REALLY) want everyone to chill out a bit for the moment though. Not that my wants are paramount to anyone but me lol. But we're now 25.9 hours away from our 2nd Super Bowl (and prayerfully, our 2nd celebration) in 5 years.

So let's ALL just chill out a bit and enjoy this moment. We don't get it all that often!

Also, to everyone that wants to invoke dead family members when arguing with someone, please knock that off. It's 100% uncalled for. If you're going to flame me in an argument, give ME your best shot. I can take it, I've been on the EMB for almost 25 years. But don't bring my family (dead or alive) into it. That's just too far to take it.

The last 48 hrs have been turbulent and divisive on many levels.  Glad someone took out the trash and cleaned the floors.

I think the community has begun to focus on the opportunity at hand, fighting has faded, almost gone.

Respect is given and earned. Some folks know it, others need reminders, now and again.
