Make him feel better about himself.

Ultimately, there's almost never anything good that can come from the player speaking to the media.  Only bad things... or nothing.  I prefer nothing.

There’s a narrow landing strip that 98% players completely miss off course. Kelce nails it every time. Brooks and Johnson mostly as well. Something about O-linemen I guess.

Wild how if it wasn’t for Doug and Jacksonville Dallas would have the one seed right now and we’d be relying on Wentz to beat Dallas next week to get it back.

Thank goodness the eagles are not in that boat. I remember two weeks ago when some were saying that game didn't matter 😅

They should rest their starters and use next week as a bye for their starters, since they won't get one moving forward.  Different coaching staff here and there since that game happened in 2020.  It would actually be petty to let that impact their decision for how they approach this game upcoming.  If they feel they need their starters to play in order to stay sharp for the playoffs... then so be it.  But, if they want to rest dinged up players and starters, they've earned that by clinching already.  And they are locked in at the 6 seed.  Nothing they do or happens around the league will change that.  10-6-1, 9-7-1, no difference one way or the other.  And right now, either the Eagles or Dallas will be the 1 seed.  Does it really matter who it is to them?

Their position won't change.

Ours may be impacted dramatically. Now we need the Dubya next week.

NFL likes it like that...

This makes me feel 10% better

Meh... it was that win by Jax over Dallas that led to the team playing less than inspired football over the last two weeks... and likely why Hurts hasn't played.  He might have been able to go one of the last two... if not both.  But, I think that win changed the mindset of the team, which it never should have.  Dallas wins against Jacksonville, and the Eagles go to Dallas and win, and they clinch HFA that way too.   Nothing really changed about that Dallas game with the loss by Dallas the week before... except in their approach.

when is the NFL gonna start calling Jefferson for taking his helmet off in the field of play

The thing about sitting Hurts when he can play (and every one of his teammates knows he can play) is that it sends the message that they aren't all in going into the game.  You can throw out all records every week in the NFL because it is all about who wants it most.  Sitting your best player when he can go just reeks of not wanting it.  Players sense that and opposing teams sense that.

OL are likely the smartest players on the team.  And nothing about what they do is about them as an individual, unless they screw up.  They never want attention on them, because when it is, it is almost always negative.  Their position, by definition, is about team.  And they don't think like a single entity even on the field, but as a unit of 5 (sometimes 6 or even 7).

It's hard to know from an outsider's perspective how much the Eagles played with not playing Jalen. If he is healthier than they're letting on and they (Lowie) were arrogant enough to sit him to preserve him thinking they couldn't possibly lose three in a row even with Minshew, then man, what a clown show.

Likely to be flexed to the SNF game as well... like they do.

Jets and Commanders gonna be battling for Carr in the off-season.

@Iggles25 for some reason I thought of the other Chris Isaak song "Baby did a bad bad thing” when I made this comment. Please forgive me.

Or to take it to a higher conspiracy level... to increase Minshew's value as a FA so they get a comp pick...

He hit a ref. It does not matter if he accidentally hit a ref while taking his helmet off and trying to slam it into the ground.

He should have been tossed from the game.

Probably, but theyll be drafting high enough to take a QB.

Yeah, or it could be that they want to rest their franchise QB with an injured throwing shoulder in a game against a weak opponent.

That dad joke is so completely out of left field I have no idea what to think. It’s so bizarre coming from skip Bayless that I can’t stop laughing at it

He did it two weeks ago against the colts right in front of the ref.

I don’t think they’ll flex it due to if Dallas somehow gets upset by WAS next week, both teams are resting their guys. Giants most likely are already not playing theirs.

Definitely possible.
