Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I always felt the key matchup was the Eagles DL vs KC OL...no sacks and was run on. The KC OL won this battle and made all the difference

The line play was really shocking to me.  I thought the Eagles would own both lines but it seemed to lean in favor of KC for both.

The linebacker play can't be overlooked either.  Willie Gay and Nick Bolton run circles around TJ Edwards and Kyzir White.  Did White make a single tackle?  Both can walk.

Howie, please stop trading 4th round picks at the deadline.

The Chiefs ran so many double moves and put our corners in conflict with motion that confused our corners.

We had two weeks to prep and failed spectacularly.

Yeah. Kinda like Schwartz in the SB. He went to Doug and said we’re going to be aggressive. We’re either gonna get the ball back for you or they’re going to score quick.

Definitely needed to be super aggressive, especially on that last possession.  Kept playing the soft zone and expecting Reid and Mahomes to make a mistake.  Bad plan.

2 complaints on offense:

1. Sanders sucked tonight.

2. My favorite fast WR Quez ain’t it.  We do need a downfield dangerous 4.3 type to complement our starters.  I think most can see the balance and danger in that.  We can’t always rely on acrobatic catches in traffic 40 yards downfield from Brown and Smith.  Sometimes, you do need that guy that wins the foot race, tracks the ball, and catches it clean and free of traffic.  Quez has that special speed…and it translates to the field.  But he just isn’t going to progress in the nuances of the position.  Pascal is a nice reliable #4, but they could really use a #3 with Watkins’ speed that comes with a more reliable skill set.

It's crazy that the defense couldn't even get one stop. Wide open TDs, Run D was nonexistent again. Everyone looked soft and unprepared.

Would have been a 3 possession game. Fumble blew that up and completely turned the game around for the chiefs. Yeah, it’s not good giving up 24 in the 2nd half, but if the birds didn’t fumble it earlier they could have controlled the clock.

Not really. We scored on the very next drive after the fumble. The only reason we had the ball was because of the fumble TD. I mean, sure. Maybe we would have scored that drive. And the fumble was awful. But to pretend Hurts was the problem is outside of reality.

The Eagles had the better roster 1-53, Hurts may have outplayed Mahomes tonight and the Eagles still couldn't beat them.

I said in the week leading up to the game, if the Eagles can't beat them this year, I can't even fathom what they can do differently.

It’s really hard to believe that you honestly feel this way without bias. The fumble was bad, sure. But Hurts made a bunch of really good plays. Tied it up when I didn’t think it was possible. How many QBs would have played that well in that game? Not many. I was his biggest non-believer before the season. Got called out a bunch for it. The guy somehow did what I thought was impossible. And put up 35 in a Super Bowl. I’m not sure what you expect from a QB. If the defense did anything in the second half, we win. If that last call was handled correctly, we would have had a chance. And if he threw a pick to lose, sure. Maybe it would be a discussion. We were up ten at half after the fumble. Jalen and the offense did enough to win. Turnovers happen. He did plenty to win. If you don’t agree, I’m not sure what to tell you

Plenty of qbs play that well or better with pur run game and wrs

Gannon should've been way more aggressive in the second half, especially the last drive. You're getting picked apart slowly anyway. Be aggressive. Cover 0 all out blitzes and get the ball back at least. I was begging him to do that. He just sat there with the same BS.

Yup, absolutely disgraceful. We all knew Mahomes would shred us if Gannon went back to his soft zones. He did and he shredded, better yet, gutted us. Reid probably couldn't believe Gannon constantly played that way. I want him f'n gone.

We all know it's just a game.

But why become a troll after a loss on the biggest stage

You're no better than the people you point fingers at.

Explain to me how there is any trolling on my part.  I’m simply suggesting that people need to step away from the edge or down from the high wire.

We can’t afford to pay Hurts and keep all of them. Sanders is easily replaceable in the draft and with Gainwell. Hargrave is a tough replacement, but at his age, and what he’ll cost, I’m not sure if we can afford it. Bradberry will be too expensive, we’ll have to go with a cheap vet and/or rookie.

Of bradberry, Seumalo, and Hargrave we should be able to keep 2.

Nah just football

hurts is a good kid he just isnt a good enough passer to build an offense arounf

He was 27/38 and 308 yards passing with no picks. He was very accurate today, made good decisions, and damn near won us the Super Bowl.

He deserves some criticism for the fumble TD which was unforced, but as a passer he was very good today.

That was the worst part of this game. I won’t blame the refs for losing because we couldn’t stop the Chiefs from scoring. But to essentially ice the game on such a soft call robbed us of what could have been an all time great ending.

Yeah literally an all time great game. Instead even neutrals are left feeling an anti-climax and robbed of an experience.

He's going to go too high but man I would love Zay Flowers on this team.

Nah it’s just football and he needs to be perfect.

Call a better defense. We couldn't figure out motion into the flat.

That’s what it looks like when one coach is competently out-scheming the other. The defense has sufficient talent to have contained that Chiefs offense.

Pascal getting so many snaps down the stretch tells us all we need to know.

The run game that wasn’t working? Sure, plenty of QBs put up 35 points against the best team in the AFC.

Really down on Bradberry after this one. He seemed to be beat a few times tonight then even admitted to the hold at the end there even I don't feel like it was. How can you do that? See ya!

Nope.  All game long I just kept saying...defense give us ONE PLAY.  A sack, a turnover a freaking TFL...nothing.
