Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

I don’t believe the Bears "set a blueprint”.  This Eagles team, healthy, has shown they can beat teams multiple different ways.  It Hurts can play like he did earlier this year and the rest of the team can stay healthy, I don’t have any concerns with this offense moving the ball and scoring points.  The biggest issue in Chicago was the cold and wind.  Someone else might figure it out or set the blueprint.  Chicago didn’t.

Agree.  This team has proved it can beat you in a wide variety of ways.  Their are notna one trick pony show.

Unless they play Minshew at QB, then they forget that running the football is a viable option and they become quite pass happy, for no good reason, even if the opponent is considerably better defending the pass than the run and recent history would indicate that a run heavy approach would be better suited to success, and even while the evidence in the moment indicates that running is more effective than passing.

The "blueprint" from the last several Eagles' games has been wait for the coaching staff to come up with an asinine gameplan.

4D chess masterplan, lull them into thinking we are arses and level the boom at the appropriate moment

I'm also thinking that Shaun Bradley's wrist injury might suddenly take a turn for the worst.

Probably get away with cutting the usual suspects on the fringe with a PS designation at this point - they aren’t going to jump off a playoff  team for a futures contract especially with how the elevations work.

Is Sanders still nursing his knee?  Assuming that played a part in the limited amount of runs last week

thats true - wonder if they will use Scott and gainwell more.

Can't see them wanting hurts to throw 40 times

Scott is money vs Giants.  Let him tote the rock in this game.

Wish they would just give Sermon a shot

@LeanMeanGM

Eagles lead all time 91-88-2 so a chance to widen the gap a bit with a win.

It doesn't work that way. If the Eagles waive someone, he cannot be designated to the practice squad and automatically go there. He would have to clear waivers first, running the risk of another team snagging him. The player has no say in the matter. The Eagles got burned two years ago by trying to sneak Casey Toohill through waivers and ended up losing a good depth DE prospect when Washington claimed him.

Bonus -- Eagles pulling healthy starters out with 10+ minutes left in the game.

Giants backup QB plays more than DJ and ends the game with a total QBR under 40

If Hurts is good to go, it doesn’t matter what the Giants do, we’ll curb stomp them just like we did in their house.

It likely did.  Of course, that's no excuse for why Gainwell and Scott combined for 2 (official) carries.   (Gainwell's only carry was nullified by penalty, and he never got another chance to run the ball the rest of the game.   Gross incompetence on the part of the coaching staff.)

Yes.   This is one of the two games that are really the reason that he manages to stick around.  He's a JAG most of the time, but against the Giants... he's like Walter Payton!

I believe he has been vaccinated.
