Getting ready to walk out the door to head to the stadium. Same thing I said five years ago....when I get home, I'm either going to be really depressed or extremely jubilant. Later gents.

Hate the Steelers but that not being Heinz Field anymore is just not right.

I live in pburgh, signed up to be an extra in the crowd, pretty cool experience, met Tom Hardy. He was super chill and down to earth.

I heard it was the Bills assistant trainer that first responded, recognized the problem and lack of pulse, and ran the show.

NFL needs to highlight the job this training staff did to save his life.  It’s incredible.

He does.  But equally, him having to sit out 2 weeks and see 2 losses could quietly penetrate his head and make him think, maybe my health is a bigger factor than I thought.  I know he's a hard headed chap, but last week would have been a chastening experience for him

It also highlights the need for this team, with hurts, to have an elite RB and RB depth.

I haven't liked the approach at RB the last few years and still don't like it.  I want a "real" RB.  I don't want another 5'7 guy no matter how rocked up he is.  This RB group just feels like guys who are gimmicky and not true hand the ball off all game long kind of guys.

But just look at all that beef

I might be overthinking this, but if I’m Daboll I’m sitting my starters this week for a few reasons:

— the team is confident after beating WASH, being right there against MIN, and thumping the Colts.  If I play my starters in Philly and get thumped like a few weeks ago, the team is decidedly less confident going into the wildcard game.  A loss with backups mitigates that

— I’m locked into the #6 seed and MIN looks locked into the #3 seed.  I’ve played against both MIN and PHI already once this season and don’t want to give too much intel to either team before a likely playoff matchup.  If the Giants beat the Vikings their next likely opponent in the divisional round is the Eagles

— If I go all-out this Sunday and win it kicks the Eagles down to the #5 seed but makes no difference for my wildcard matchup.  Niners would be #1, DAL #2 and MIN still #3.  It does change my divisional round opponent, though; likely going to SF instead of Philly — who I’m more familiar with and game planning could be easier against

Maybe I’m under thinking it.

I mean sanders is having one of the best RB years in the league, but I expect him to leave. I think bijan Robinson should be in the discussion if there at 10ish and the elite pass rushers are gone

I am only seeing the 2nd point as making any sense. He is not going into a game to worry about losing and it’s effects, nor is he calculating a 2nd round opponent. The only things he should consider is being healthy and avoiding any significant injuries. Get into the playoffs and let the chips fall where they may!

He is...yet they still refuse to let him be the lead back and bell cow. Imagine how good he could be if he consistently got the ball 20 times a game.  Could his body take it is probably a big part of the equation.  But even so, far too many games it seems he's an afterthought or used later in the game.  I just hate how they use the RBs.

Let Miles be the guy or don't.

Organizations usually do some kind of publication on this sort of thing.

I've had to do an interview and picture that got published in a system wide email. Which I hated.

But better yet,  I've taken a sports EMT course where we broke down videos from real injuries,  major ones in other professional sports.  When you could see the medical teamresponding. There was an incident with the Flyers in particular that didn't go very smoothly (though people watching on TV wouldn't know). We picked out mistakes or things that could/ should have gone smoother. It would be really cool if Hamlin approves, if they did a whole special, or long segment where he walks through the whole scenario what he saw,  what they did, why etc.

That would be very interesting.

what? What other teams should I be discussing- this is the Eagles- thats the team I follow?

- and BS on dont discuss the positives, when the positives were abundant, thats all I did, but now I see more negatives than positives.

I am no BLIND fan who only talks in glowing terms. I will call out their issues, right now there are plenty

More negatives than positives?  Step through the 25 starters on this team and tell me who the negatives are.  The negatives are a small fraction of the positives.

I don’t disagree with what you’re saying, though miles may not be the 20+ touch guy. But I hear you, let that make itself clear.

bijan, Sean tucker, Gibbs, lots of decent backs coming out behind them. I don’t love the idea of Gibbs and Kenny G as our top two, so that tells me maybe bijan at 10 and come back to bpa with our own pick

I am somewhat surprised they waived an olineman, since they now essentially only have eight with Lane unavailable. Maybe this is good news about his availability in the playoffs?

Keeping Nate Herbig as OL6 was the move to make if you ask me.

Herbig wanted to start.  He didn’t earn that with the Jets, but he did have that opportunity there.

Sean Tucker is a guy I really like but even he is very Miles Sanders like.  5-10 205.  He's taken a beating at Syracuse too.

KC gets screwed there. Its a 13 hour drive to the stadium from KC and its about 5 or 3 1/2 hours for the other teams.

Chicago would be better for KC vs Buffalo if they want an outdoors game.

we are not the same team that won 13 games right now. We are the team that lost the last 2 games. Thats who we currently are.

And right now, the next 2 games will be the most important of the year to Date. It's playoiff time.

I pity the women who choose to have sexual intercourse with you.  Clearly with your attitude foreplay does not matter, nor does whether she has an orgasm.  The only thing that matters to you is how you yourself feel in the immediate present.
